Hello Darlings,
With Valentine’s Day just days away, who better to ask about the love holiday than the dynamic duo— Josie Dye and Wilder Weir— who star in Cosmo TV’s popular show Oh So Cosmo that explores everything to do with men, sex, relationships and fashion. And indeed, Wikipedia does define Valentine’s Day as a holiday with its origin dating back 1,500 years! The holiday became associated with romantic love in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
Beginning with a woman’s perspective on Valentine’s Day, Josie Dye is a well known television and radio personality. Josie stars in the television show Oh So Cosmo and also has her own radio show, on 102.1 The Edge. I interviewed Josie while shooting an Oh So Cosmo segment, and here is what she said:
Hello Darlings,
With the National Bridal Show this weekend and Valentine’s Day just around the corner, ‘tis the season to plan a wedding. For the lovely brides-to-be and her bridesmaids, this is the time of the year when plans come together and wedding dress selection is finalized.
For one, I love dresses! White or not, a dress is a dress and it is something beautiful to ponder upon. Occasionally—I confess— I enjoy browsing an endless online selection of David’s Bridal. After prom, a wedding is a girl’s second chance to play an enchanted princess.
Hello Darlings,
How many of us have spent hours discussing all matters of love and relationships over cocktails, coffees, dinners and definitely shopping trips. Men, relationships, marriages, break-ups, love, babies, divorces hold a special place in the realm of girl talk. Despite this insight, love and relationships remained an area that I was not very keen on discussing on With Love…
Why not discuss an area that is so natural to women? Because relationships are complicated, and discussing emotions is not my strength. If it doesn’t work, then don’t fix it. If it works, then nourish it. It is great to work at a relationship, but not at love. Love is supposed to be natural, never feeling like a job. Well, for those who have been curious about my views on relationships and marriage: this is it.
Hello Darlings,
I am in the midst of midterms and assignments, so forgive me for the absence. However, I had to share these two beautiful editorials that are so fall perfect.... and follow the academic theme :)
Enjoy!!!
