All the pretty bows

Hello Darlings,

My current obsession is bows... in a tasteful manner, not overwhelming or loud. I love bows on shirts, tights, rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, shoes, purses... basically everywhere. I'm not sure what's with me and all the girly things, but I am obsessing. So here's yet another girly obsession of mine ... that is seen all over the Chloe, Chanel, Moschino and D&G spring runways.

I love Trash and Luxury Tees... they are always fun and totally casual but of course with a touch of interesting details.
I love the flow-y look and the exposed shoulder is always a big plus.

Whenever watching Gossip Girl, I obsess over Blair's headbands, which are fun and add so much to otherwise boring hair styles. Headbands are also a life saver when you're at war with your hair dryer and lose... One way or another, I love headbands .... DO YOU?

This is me playing dress up in my room, wearing an H&M headband and high waisted skirt with my striped knee socks from Miss Sixty. I love the preppy school girl look, and I especially adore how Blair does it in Gossip Girl.

On another note, I was excited to meet fellow bloggers at Bloor Street Diner last Sunday. It was a wonderful day and a highlight of my week. Girls just want to have fun, and we did!

Fall is my favorite season so I try to get out as much as possible and engage in innocent fun such as spending my afternoon in the park walking Johnny ( my doggies name) ... Canadian autumn can be magical.

1. I have a nail phobia... They always must be done... It's really big paranoia to extent that some people find it weird...
2. I start every shopping trip with a Godiva Dark Chocolate Decadence...
3. I have a bubble bath every night... or I won't fall asleep.
4. I will never buy polyester... I'm paranoid of the material.
5. I hate brown and black colour combination - a strong dislike.
6. I never wear red ... clothing, lips, nail polish,etc.
 

7. I had my first burger two months ago... and I am 20 years old.

Shopaholic Compulsive Buying

STRESS + SHOPPING = MORE STRESS

Shopping is a stress reliever, but realizing what I spent this month makes me feel even more stressed out. So I got to thinking, most women love to shop, but to what extent? Is it fun or is it really an addiction? I decided to do a little research and here are some of the facts that I found:

Lets get the facts straight

Compulsive buying is a chronic tendency to buy far in excess of needs and resources

Compulsive shopping is often viewed favorably rather than treated as a problem

Nearly 6% of the U.S. population fits the compulsive-buyer classification

Compulsive buying afflicts men and women at the about the same rate

Like other addictions, shopping fills some kind of a void

Characteristics are low self-esteem, and vulnerable to depression and high anxiety

On a completely different note, I went to the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game. I love going to the hockey games - always lots of fun :)

I wore my new YMC wool cardigan to have a casual but cute look at the hockey game. I would never be that girl wearing stilettos to a hockey game, which is surprisingly common... WOULD YOU WEAR STILETTOS TO A SPORTS EVENT?
