Blue skies, sunny days and warm waters for my Florida beach vacation! I am staying at a beach house near Tallahassee Florida for the next week.

The thing about vacations is that it is never as effortless to be chic on the beach as it looks. A girl might be wearing just a bikini and a cover-up but a lot of thought went into that ensemble. That’s the thing about effortless, it always takes effort.

After a long day of filming on new docu-series called Celebrity Style Story for E! and Fashion Television channels, I rushed to the much anticipated Tory Burch opening of their first boutique in Canada. As a long time Tory Burch fan of her East coast meets West coast style of preppy yet relaxed looks, it is exciting to welcome yet another wonderful designer to Canada.

On May 4th, Tory Burch opened its iconic lacquered orange doors at Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Centre. According to Tory Burch herself, "Our Yorkdale boutique has been in the works for a while, but we took our time finding the right space and were patient until it became available. We have always been drawn to Canada because of its incredible culture and people — the customer is savvy, stylish and loves fashion."

I am planning my vacation wardrobe for next week, for a trip to the beach and some quality time with those I love while soaking up some sun— with SPF 60 of course! Even my two babies, Bonnie and Johnny are coming :)

That said, I have a spring/summer fashion question to ask you. Lately, I've been seeing the emergence of the fuchsia pink colour just about everywhere! I was particularly interested in buying the Coach Madison Lindsey (like the purse you have), but in this colour. My only worry is about it's longevity as an investment. I love the colour, but I'm not sure how much wear I'll get out of it, or how to incorporate it into everyday outfits? Any tips/suggestions? Should I maybe invest in a neutral instead?
