Biologique Recherche Placenta Serum for Dark Eye Circles

For all of the busy working ladies spending hours staring at their screens. For all the mamas lacking sleep. For every individual suffering from dark circles, whether permanent or not—I’ve got a remedy for you!

So, in the spirit of sharing as I always do with you, I might have found a product that ACTUALLY works to diminish dark circles, versus just claims to fix them. In fact, it’s not actually for dark circles. Rather, it’s a repairing serum.

A month or so ago, I began using a new Biologue Recherche serum that rocked my world! As you know, most of my skin care products are from this brand. I buy it religiously. (Influencer Disclosure, as we at times need in this digital world: I have never worked with the brand, though I would sure love to.) I was introduced to it by plastic surgeon Dr. Marc DuPéré, years ago, and it has completely changed my skin. But that struggle you can read more about here

With long screen hours and elevated stress levels—thank you Covid, I’ve noticed that I have developed dark circles. My friend Shayla suffers from the same issue and mentioned that she’s been loving BR Placenta Serum for the under-eye area, both to help reduce circles and minimize the appearance of fine lines. What are friends for if not to “steal” each other's beauty secrets. I ordered my own to try!

I will begin by saying that it smells terrible, as many of BR products do. The company does not add artificial scents to any of their products. I used to use BR eye cream, both night and day. Now, I use it only in the evenings, having replaced my morning application with the dabbing on of this serum. Over the last month, it has made a world of a difference. The area is firmer, less puffy and, most importantly, the dark circles have faded.

Loving the results, I thought I’d share this find with you. I’m considering using the serum all over my face to improve my texture and manage breakouts. Full disclosure: it is pricey, but a little goes a long way. And it works!

With Love…

Marta
