Love Mackage…
Hello Darlings,
My parents are back from New York…making my Thanksgiving even better than it was before!!! They got me the Mackage Bijour jacket that I wanted every since I laid my eye on it. I am sooooooo EXCITED!!!! Thank you mommy and daddy , you’re the greatest!

- Mackage Winter 09 Collection.... LOVE I T!!!!
The jacket is even more beautiful in person and I can’t wait to show it to you. I don’t think that I have ever been sooooooo obsessed with a designer/brand as I am with Mackage. All of my expectations are exceeded with every purchase that I make from them. It is definitely Detailed to Perfection! Thank you Mackage… you make Canadian winters that such more lovable and stylish.
The color of the jacket is black...it came out a big different on the pic, oopsy!
They also got me Miss Dior Cherie from Christian Dior… although Chanel Coco Mademoiselle with ALWAYS be my signature scent it is nice to change it up. Well, it is not really changing it up since I’ve been wearing it on and off since grade 9.
I am obsessed with the pretty bottle...and the tiny bow
Well, I am off to study… My exams and essays are this week and next. I am bombarded with work, running on about 5 hours of sleep and still trying to stay positive. Although I will continue to post on regular daily bases…please forgive me for not completing your requests quicker. Requests take a lot more time and I am total perfection freak and if it not perfect…well, then it is a No No! I have a few VERY special request posts coming up and can’t wait to share them with you…
Wish me luck; it’s going to be quite a week!
I wish you all a beautiful day!!!
With Love...
Marta

oh wow, i actually do want to find/buy this parka too because i love the shape and how it doesn't remind me of the michelin man in the least. we'll see if i can muster up the $600 for this thing… i'm sure i'd never need another parka in my LIFE. lol. a technical question though, marta — what size did your parents buy for you, and how is the fit? and most importantly… how warm is it??

Hi Iris,
As for the warms,it seems to be amazingly warm, but only time will tell
I will most definitely keep you updated! The jacket is very light and you don't feel like you said a Michelin Man!
This parka is AMAZING! Honestly, you just can't go wrong with Mackage. All of their jackets are much more beautiful in person than they are on the photo.
As for size, it's Small and so is my Mackage Lean leather jacket. My measurements are 32 23 32 and I usually wear 0-00 or xs-xxs, depending on the brand. However, Mackage fits tighter in the arms and chest and the smaller size is a bit to too snug for my liking. I would definitely size up with Mackage, especially with the winter jacket
Have a lovely day!

Great jacket, Marta! I recall you posting about it previously — a hot item!
You will look amazing in it — I cannot wait to see some pics
Your parents
are so loving and generous, but something tells me it also has to do with the
fact that you are a sweetheart.
Miss Dior Cherie is my favorite scent for winter months! I keep buying it over
and over, because I have a special connection with that scent. It's so funny
how connections can happen with the simplest of things, like perfume
I hope you get some work done, but also have some time for you and a bit
of relaxation…I'm working on our previously talked about post *wink

I am so happy for you!!! Your parents really are very sweet…
I think Mackage is the reason I found your blog? lol… actually, I 'found' it a couple of times for different search reasons… but 'Mackage' is when I decided to become a 'regular'. hahaha
J'adore Mackage as well!!! I have to say though, that for a bit… I was a teensy-weensy turned off by the brand because everyone that wanted a Mackage (in Vancouver, that I know of, at least….) ran to the nearest Aritzia and bought the Jerry. *sigh* After I saw yours though, I was reconverted, and am here to stay. I can't wait to see you all dressed up in it.
Have you tried Miss Dior Cherie before? And did you like it? I didn't like it so much as I liked Coco Mademoiselle.. or Nina by Nina Ricci, which is my ultimate go-to… so it's been rattling about in the bottom of my perfume drawer. I actually can't remember why I didn't like it anymore, so maybe it's time to pull out the bottle and take a whiff.
P.S. Love that Mackage 'little black book'.

I know the story of Mackage Jerry… haha, same thing here in Toronto
I've always adored Mackage, even before Aritzia craze over it…I love their attention to detail. I also really LOVE Soia&Kyo which is a sister brand of Mackage, actually brother brand…since it is designed by Elfassy's brother
Let's just say I am HUGE fan of the brands!
I used to wear Miss Dior Cherie in high school and loved it. Right now and probably forever, my favorite is Coco Mademoiselle… ever since I tried it in grade 11, I haven't worn anything else. I think that Miss Dior Cherie is a nice change just for everyday wear…it is not quite as strong as Chanel. But for me Chanel is Chanel
Wish you a lovely day!
