The Estée Edit
Hello Darlings, It is said that beauty is in the eye of beholder. I think it is all within an attitude. As Sophie Lauren famously said, “beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.” A statement that cannot be anymore true and one that is often times lost within our beauty ideals. Today in the world of beauty trends that define what is beautiful and attractive, it is easy to lose your identity. No point in time have women faced as much emphasis on physical appearance as they do today. This is why beauty is an attitude. It is a woman’s attitude toward herself and her appearance that defines her beauty. Beauty is an attitude that you have towards yourself.
We all have insecurities which is why we all have our own little beauty little rituals that help us improve our attitude. This is where makeup comes into play. While I’ve always been a firm believer that makeup should never be a form of masking your so-called shortcomings but rather a way to emphasize your favorite features. If makeup makes you feel more confident then have fun with it.
Personally, I wear makeup daily and not because I am insecure in what I look like but because I feel more polished. It gives me great joy to get ready in the morning by applying my favorite lip color or blush while sipping on a cup of coffee. I also enjoy having girls over while we get ready together for a night out over some bubbly. For a woman her beauty routine is her ritual that has less to do with the exterior but more to do with the confidence that it gives her.
As our world is quickly evolving, it is great to see traditional brands such as The Estée Edit introduce beauty lines that are geared towards millennials. In January, The Estée Edit introduced The Estée Edit line of 82 beauty and skin care products that are exclusively available in Sephora. The line focuses on the attitude every woman has towards her beauty routine, from a minimalist to a beauty junkie it’s has it all.
For me daily beauty routine is very simple which is why my favorite two products for every day are The Estée Edit Pore Vanishing Stick and The Estée Edit Flash Photo Powder. While I do not like wearing heavy makeup especially in the summer, I do want to make sure my complexion looks even. This is where the pore vanishing stick is great as the formula blurs the look of pore and minimizes shine. It is great when used on its own or when set with powder. I like to set it with Flash Photo Powder which is translucent and blue-hued to brighten the skin. The powder creates a look that Valencia filter gives, with a perfect amount of brightness and smoothness. Both products are compact and are perfect for touch ups on the go making them perfect for a girl on the go.
So regardless of what you love to do with your makeup, it is all about how it makes you feel. So find a beautify routine that gives you the beauty attitude.
With Love...
