Journey with American Express VIP Event: Gold Rewards Card Anniversary

Hello Darlings,

Fresh from my ten day Québec trip, I began a Journey in another sense thanks to my friends at American Express. The past few weeks have been undeniably exciting!

On August 9th, American Express and High Road Communications kindly invited With Love Gabrielle to celebrate the one year anniversary of the American Express Gold Rewards Card.

The evening began with an intimate sunset dinner overlooking Lake Ontario, followed by a Journey and Foreigner concert and an after-party at the Amex lounge. The entire evening was a perfect way for E and I to just relax and have some fun after the long trip. With such a beautiful atmosphere we could not have asked for a better evening to spend together.

The entire evening was planned as a big surprise with very little details and only a location to guide the girl to a perfect outfit. So what's a girl to wear? Well, given my view that a cute outfit with fabulous heels never hurts, I went for pinks and neutrals. A little blush for cheeks, a touch of heels for footsies, and a mini for the legs—actually, I was dressing up for a date and the surprise was just a cherry on top of a cake :) In my mind, a tutu is always a green light and proceed!
