Hotel Le Germain Influencers Lunch
Hello Darlings, Sunday brunch has always been one of my favourite social gatherings. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the comfort of morning sunshine and of course a table with some of my favourite people are just a few of the reasons. Many broken hearts have been mended over mimosas and much advice has been given, and even more relationship advice has been received over pancakes or French toast (my favourite!). The tradition of brunching with my girlies or loved ones has been around for a while and even as our lives take us in different directions, there’s always time for a catch-up brunch!
With all of the above in mind, I hosted a brunch at the charming Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square for some of Canada’s most influential bloggers: Daniella Etienne of The Broken Heel Diaries, Erin Davis of Notable.ca, Kimberly Lyn of The Souls of My Shoes, Lisa Kisber of lkisstyle.com, Sharon Ng Hayes of Backseat Stylers, Nelia Belkova of Styleblog.ca, and Nataliya Smirnova of Stylegination.
In the world of social media, it’s easy to make a lot of friends but most of those friendships exist only over Twitter and e-mail. With World MasterCard Fashion Week behind us, I thought what could be a better way to celebrate Canadian fashion and friendship then over a girlie brunch. With custom lychee cocktails at hand, we began our three hour, three course lunch in a beautiful private Hotel Le Germain suite over-looking the scenic Maple Leaf Square.

As sunlight flooded our room the conversation flowed from trying to figure out exactly what Kardashians are famous for, to the adorable dresses and silk blouses of Joe Fresh, and then of course to the runway shows from fashion week. Of course, no girl would ever share the secrets of Sunday brunch girl talk, but I assure you there was plenty of inside tittle-tattle. Maybe next time we will welcome cameras for a video :)
As for me, having the opportunity to host so many wonderful and interesting women was an honour. It was remarkable to learn how different we all are, yet how our lives have intersected thanks to this e-world. I cannot wait for another season to come and to renew more similar dialogue.
A kind thank you goes out to Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square for such a beautiful event! For the rest of the images from the Blogger Lunch, click here!
With Love...
