Always Be Thankful...

Hello Darlings,

I am sitting at a wooden desk on the 10th floor of the library, and dwelling over how much can happen over a short period of time. As this weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada, I am thankful to enjoy the last days of summer-like weather with those that I love the most.

Although I am going to get into the wardrobe part of the post...

I would like to reflect upon one thing beforehand :)

This year has been full of many unexpected events. Although there were difficult times when things were so out off course that I felt hopeless, I cannot help but believe that everything does happen for a reason. I finally feel content without doubt about what future holds for me. Plans fall apart, accidents happen, people break-up, people die, illness comes around... but at the end of the day life is life and feeling down is just silly. Smile and go on!

I bought this jacket from Aritzia's Little Moon line a while back. I adore the silk floral lining, the beautiful quilting and the whimsical print. Another new addition is this linen and silk blouse from Club Monaco. My fall to-buy list is getting shorter and I am supper happy about it!
