Hello Darlings,Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending my afternoon with Dian Young of Philosophy to take The Thirsty Challenge and learn all about summer skin care.

During the challenge that takes place at select The Bay location until June 2nd, a skin-care expert will establish your skin's moisture levels and determine the best skin care routine for you. Also, since I want everyone to try Philosophy products, you can WIN 1 of 7  skin care gifts valued at $200 by entering here!

During my one-on-one consultation, I discovered that my skin's moisture level is high and that the goal is to maintain it throughout the summer with select products.  Also, I had a chance to speak with Dian about 5 steps to summer beautiful skin and here's what she had to recommend.

Step 1: Cleanser

Use the best cleanser you can. A good cleanser should maintain the pH balance in your skin. After washing your face, the skin should not feel tight or uncomfortable.

Step 2: Exfoliation

The best thing that you can do for your skin is exfoliate. It is one of the greatest steps you can use to keep your skin glowing. Once you remove the dead skin, any other product that you put on top with have the best benefits.

Step 3: Sun Protection

Using SPF is key because it's your insurance to good skin health.

Step 4: Retinoid

Retinoid is truly the anti-aging  product as it encourages skin turnover. The fine lines and wrinkles will diminish and the appearance of the skin will improve.

Step 5:  Moisturizer

To maintain your skin's natural moisture balance.

For my visit to Philosophy at the Eaton Center, I wore my new favorite Juicy Couture dress with Marc Jacob's flats. With a hot day outside, a simple silk dress is just what a girl needs.

What are your 5 skin steps?

With Love...
