I am most comfortable in neutrals or pastels. I usually avoid bright or loud colors except in summer. This may just be a phase, since I do change my mind often, but never when it comes to colors my preferences are black, grey, white and beige.

Color is not the only way to make an outfit exciting. Colorful accessories can make a dull outfit come alive, as can playing with textures and materials. To me, nothing in fashion is as important as attention to DETAILS...

Details mean something to me, such as proper fit, stitching, no stains / rips, clean and wrinkle-free (always surprising to see how many people wear ripped or stained white tees).... Paying close attention to tiniest details makes an outfit look organized and neat.

I love wearing bracelets or cuffs over simple cashmere gloves in order to add some interest to a winter outfit. Also, I've always loved matching my gloves to my purse.

And thanks for your comments on the T by by Alexander Wang. Although expensive, I am unimpressed with the collection - the dresses remind me of night gowns. I am curious if the quality and fit is what makes them expensive, since the materials are "not my favorite" nor are the cuts original.

As for my outfit, I am wearing a Spring & Clifton V-neck Long Cardi together with Corpus Alpha in Cracked jeans. The cut is casual, the cotton is super soft, so it is comfortable for reading. But the details are what makes it more than just an everyday throw on shirt, with an interesting collar with a tie, cute pearl buttons at the shoulders, and the sheerness of the stripes.

To bring all the details together, I pull my hair back n a high messy bun with a headband and pearl earrings (to go with pearl buttons) and to make it more winter friendly I added a long cozy cardi with colorful buttons.

It has been an eventful and fun month. I just returned from an awesome vacation in Cancun Mexico, and Saturday night was the Malanka - a yearly tradition within the Ukrainian community to celebrate our New Years.

This year was my third year attending Malanka in Toronto. It was a black tie event

I bought this Alexander Wang dress in October specifically for Malanka. I paired it with my patent leather Ruthie Davis Mary Jane's with Swarovski encrusted crystal shoes....

...and to bring it all together with an adorable patent leather Coach wristlet.

I had my hair done in a salon, but I wish I didn't. Every year, I say the same thing.... but always end up paying $70 to get my hair curled almost in the same way that I wear it naturally, but this time I added a braid which looked like a headband but it was too small to see .... I was kind of disappointed. As for make up I kept it to a minimal going for a young, fresh and fun look....

Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend, I had the best time tonight. He surprised me with a Swarovski heart pendant and a candle lit dinner at a Moroccan restaurant.

Our night of romance came with a twist, as there was a belly dancer performing at the Moroccan restaurant. Seriously, I want to learn how to belly dance. The dancer was incredible doing all that sexy stuff with her body.

My boyfriend Andrew also treated me yesterday to this Wilfred dress, which I wore last night together with Calvin Klein opaque tights.
