I was hoping to make this post along with a video, but my video editing is taking forever. Do you have any suggestions of a good program to use? In the meantime, on day four of Toronto Fashion Week, I attended Rudsak but unfortunately missed the Lundström and VAWK shows.

Taking a break from telling you about fashion shows to address a serious personal dilemma. As I was waiting for the Pink Tartan show to begin, I watched my black chiffon ruffles gently flowing under the fan’s heavy breeze. My hands folded and my nails were painted fifth avenue red, but as I noticed my bare wrist with only a gold watch, I observed.... for a person who own lots of jewelry and fun pieces, I suck at accessorizing.

Looking at my jewelry box, one would definitely assume that I have a gold jewelry obsession; however, despite having so many beautiful pieces, I have yet to learn the art of accessorizing.

For the second day of Toronto Fashion Week, I was invited to attend Chloe Comme Parris and Pink Tartan. Unfortunately, I missed the Chloe Comme Parris show but did make it just in time for Pink Tartan.

Pink Tartan is designed by the talented Kimberley Newport-Mimran, the wife of Joe Mimran, who used to design for Club Monaco and is now responsible for the hugely successful Joe Fresh line.

Of all of the shows, Pink Tartan is the one to which I can most directly relate in terms of style. Their pieces are sophisticated, feminine and fun, and Kimberly surpassed expectations with her stunning blouse and tutu-skirt combinations. The show was well done and the collection was exceptional; I will definitely be stopping by the Pink Tartan store to check it out.

Following a grueling week of fashion shows, I was truly looking forward to this weekend to just breeze!

First, thanks to all of the designers and PR companies for allowing me to take part in an event that celebrates the beauty of our home-grown talent. It was a pleasure to go behind the scenes backstage and to attend many of the shows. Also I would like to send out and even more special of a thank you to my best friend Anna and my bf E, they were there every step of the way!
