For the past few weeks, I have been on a quest for a new purse. Browsing dozens of stores and even more websites, I was on a mission to find a feminine purse with structure and colour.
In what I thought was the end, I debated for days over two different purses from Kate Spade: one pink and the other blue. However, by chance when I was make-up shopping I saw this little red darling!

Back in the day, while trying on the many dresses at BCBG Maz Azria for my prom, I was bluntly told that aside from my wedding dress my prom dress is the second most important purchase in my life. Well, I am not shopping for a wedding dress but I sure did go shopping for a prom dress, yet again! Twenty-three and going to prom! Again...

Part of the thrill of shopping is making lists. I just love planning and anticipating! While a stroll through a shopping mall can result in the occasional exciting and harmless unexpected purchase. It can become a problem if every shopping trip is unplanned. A girl should mostly be prepared in advance, at the very least knowing the seasonal purchases that are most needed to liven up her closet.

For the past year or so, I have obsessively been watching Slice TV’s show, Princess. Hosted by Gail Vaz-Oxlade, the series sets out to inspire women to make good financial decisions by profiling spoiled spenders, and encourage them to grow up and get real.
The most recent episode specifically inspired this article, in which a 22 year old blonde with extensions, fake tan, french manicure, and designer clothes lives according to the premise that it is a man’s job to pay. In her words, “he should get into his pocket, take out lots of cash, and just keep me happy.” It is of course every man’s dream to find a woman who will sit on her behind baking cookies and birthing kids with absolutely no career or aspirations to achieve success on her own. Next thing you know, she is out on her broke behind with nothing but her entitlement.
