Hello Darlings,
Anne Hathaway in the Vogue closet in Devil Wears Prada and Julia Roberts on Rodeo Drive in Pretty Woman - two of my all-time favorite movie scenes! Is it a divine act of self-indulgence to feel on top of the world when you find your must-have purchases of the season?Which Find is Your Favourite?

Hello Darlings,
As an invite to UGG Australia store launch party in downtown Toronto hit my inbox, I contemplated this step in the pushing boundary direction. I might as well come out and say, "I do not like classic UGGs." In the same way I dislike leggings, I dislike classic UGGs. Unless at the cottage or deep Canadian country, the thought of wearing classic UGGs in an urban landscape terrifies me.
When the night of the launch came, I was pleasantly surprised as to the footwear selection that they offered in their new beautiful store. Aside from glitter UGGs that added the sparkle to the atmosphere of a buzzing soirée, the store was filled with fashion forward apparel, footwear and accessories for men and women. Although my mind has not been changed about the classic UGGs, I did find myself lusting over a shearling platform booties (see in the gallery below). The brand definitely took a step in the right direction.

Hello Darlings,
Among the many beautiful places in Toronto, Distillery District is one of my favorites. With cobblestone streets, this historic pedestrian neighborhood has some terrific art galleries, and has numerous restaurants and pâtisseries that will suit the wants of any food lover.
As Thanksgiving Monday was as sunny and warm as an August day, I spent the afternoon indulging in a delicious lobster pasta at Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill absorbing rays of sunshine on their cozy patio. Following an hour-long lunch, I wandered to SOMA chocolatemaker for an afternoon chocolate treat.
