Hello Darlings,

Despite all evidence to the contrary (like a crammed walk-in closet and E’s drawers slowly being taken over), my Saturday morning began with the never-ending female dilemma.

“I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR!”

As one of my girlfriends pointed out, maybe women are not programmed to have this many options and feel genuinely satisfied. I mean, how many of us have closets full of clothing and always want more? The desire to have more pretty things must be a part of our DNA. Or a consequence of good marketing. Maybe our problem is just plain indecisiveness or the fact that we always want what we can’t have. Then again, men are guilty of this too. All theories aside, learning to work with the pieces I already have and make the most of them has always been my goal… even with my whining.

Regardless of my frustrating morning, I had a really fun afternoon at the Mango store in Yorkdale Shopping Centre. Nelia of Styleblog and I were invited to pick out our favourite pieces for Mango’s Happy Shopping event and have a meet-and-greet. For our picks, stop by the store and have a peek at what we selected. I loved the classic silhouettes and the many prints that Mango had to offer.

Happy Sunday Everyone! Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I adore the calm and easy atmosphere with no pressure to complete tasks or work. It is a day when I just like "to be" and catch up on blogging and reading :)

Despite the weather being great this weekend, the work week was miserable! With downpours and the drop in temperature, I finally had an opportunity to try out a pair of Cougar Limited Edition Pillow Boots that were sent to me by Matchstick. Also, I picked up one of the red exclusive Michael Kors Wild at Heart scarfs for Holt Renfrew that went on sale this Wednesday. The proceeds of sales will go towards raising $100,000 for Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

September is a month of new beginnings, mixing fresh starts with latest trends. Whether it is a new car, a new boy-toy or maybe a new pet, september is the month to restart and reboot. Same goes for your wardrobe: restart and reboot. It is a perfect time to search for key transition pieces as you shift from your favorite summer pieces into a fall mode.

You don't necessarily need a shopping extravaganza. Maybe you already have all the key pieces that are worth purchasing. It is for you to judge as to what's important for your closet.

Every September, the eyes of celebrity and fashion reporters are focused on the now famous Toronto International Film Festival. The likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Madonna grace the city and downtown is a spectacle of star-watchers and media scrums. The city buzzes with energy and parties. Today is the last day of TIFF, which ran from September 8th-18th.

Despite having to have had a full agenda with many films, events and parties; it was following an unexpected and unfortunate medical emergency that my TIFF experience was spoiled! Despite giving it my best effort and trying to get back into flow of things, the recovery is taking longer than first anticipated. I do however have a few of images to share as I really did enjoy dressing up and adored by outfits :)
