For the past month, I've been excited for the arrival of fall and all the beautiful layering pieces of the season. However, I am also a bit nostalgic about beautiful summer days and breezy dresses. Confusing, I know!

 

 

Maybe it's a style issue to transition between seasons or feeling stuck in a style rut.... constantly turning to jeans, ballerinas and a cashmere. But no worries darlings, I have regained my stylistic inspiration... and am ready to attack the daily challenge of "a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear" :D. It's amazing how much one can philosophize about clothes, and I am not even going to go into the topic of shoes.

 

But then again, where else is the girl to unleash her pleasure of ranting about all things fashion and beautiful if not on the blog. So shall we...

Just a quick post to share the latest fall addition since I can no longer suppress my excitement as they are taking a while to arrive.

I found a perfect pair of booties from Velvet Angels.Yay!

Although I am crazy in love with my Michael Kors and Stella McCartney pairs, I am super excited to add these babies to my collection. I adore the structured enamel platform, the cute little bow and of course the height :) I just hope that the shoes are as fantastic as their reviews...of course, I will share my thoughts as soon as I get my footsies into them .

Hello Darlings,

With the return of a more classic and feminine silhouette, I cannot help but be drawn to the beautiful photos of femme fatale that are seen in numerous editorials of this season.

Something about this delicate yet powerful presence makes me want to purchase a below-the-knee frock and prance around in kitten heels. Even though I cannot directly transfer this appealing look into my wardrobe or for that matter into my everyday life, I do find it incredibly refreshing to dwell upon these charming looks and embrace the beauty of all things feminine and polished. Although effortless is not the way to define these fashions, I do think the confidence that comes with getting dolled-up is worth the effort.

These are the images and looks that have initially inspired my birthday outfit and continue to inspire me, as I spend those extra five minutes trying to be sure my waves are polished or my pony is sleek.
