Hello Darlings,
I finally had a chance to wear my new Twenty8Twelve dress and Pedro Garcia shoes and adore them both. The dress is risque short, butt works with opaque tights or a pair of super skinny jeans. As for shoes, my new Pedro Garcia Mary Jane's are perfection... comfortable and totally awesome :)

The dress is made of very beautiful silk in light mint-y color with pretty little circles. The circles are not evident in the pictures, but they make this dress unique to the rest of my closet. Plus, it's a perfect addition to my Vegas wardrobe. I also love how the dress is practical for both warm and cold weather.

Speaking of Las Vegas, I am creating an inspiration post with different outfits to help me figure out what to bring...since I am not very familiar with the atmosphere there. So please do share suggestions as to what people wear to the swimming pool parties, lounges, night clubs, dinners and just strolling around. Thanks a million!

yup, I watch it twice in one night, it's my Sunday ritual

It was a quiet late summer evening in Toronto, so I decided to share these silly photos taken after having dessert at my favorite place called Caffe Demetre on Bloor Street West.
My bag is a Regina Italia purse made of leather. My shoes are the first pair that I ever bought from Michael Kors, and my shorts are my Daisy Dukes that I bought from Abercrombie & Fitch.

This week is quite busy with finishing up my research internship, and last-minute packing and shopping for my Las Vegas trip to celebrate my 21st Birthday!!! YAY!

By the way, I totally forgot to show you my Michael Kors boots that I bought last week and and a Brette Sandler silk cover-up that I bought about 10 minutes ago!!!

Beach cover ups are new to me, but this one will look amazing with my
Moschino bathing suit and Miss Trish of Capri sandals :)
Well, I am officially obsessed wearing headbands and flat oxfords. They make every casual outfit look so much cuter, and I think is a great look to take me back to university.

I wore this outfit for a day at the Art Gallery of Ontario. With a day filled with lots of walking, I needed to wear comfy shoes, and chose my Candela Tokyo Oxford flats. I also wore my new American Apparel Shiny Headband in Metallic Silver - what do you think?

After receiving an e-mail from a reader, here are some of my favorite oxford flats and a variety of styles and outfit options. I think they look best with simple outfits, since since you want the shoe to be the statement.

Sienna Miller has been wearing oxford flats all over the world and really made this trend her own. I love her simple and easy approach, that is feminine, delicate and casual.

For some added insight, here are a few rules that one should keep in mind when wearing them, courtesy of some of Vogue’s flats aficionados: ( style.com)
♥ “Putting flat lace-ups with a wide-leg trouser or jean is a very dated way to wear them,” says Jane Herman, Fashion Writer. “Instead, try a cropped pant.”
♥ “This should not be a Wall Street look,” states Filipa Fino, Senior Accessories Editor. “Let the men wear them with suits. Women should wear them with feminine pieces.”
♥ “Don’t match the colors of your shoe to your outfit,” suggests Izzie Burch, Fashion Assistant. “These are playful—do the unexpected.”
♥ “Avoid socks!” says Jill Demling, Entertainment Editor. “That’s my only rule!”
With Love...
Marta
