Excited to reveal my new Michael Kors Duck Boots that I just bought on sale for $100.

They are not exactly the prettiest shoes ever, but they are perfect winter shoes - rubber, water-proof but with a high patent leather heel. They are also incredibly comfortable and I can wear them all day without slightest sign of discomfort.
I am wearing:
Maggie Ward Dress
Talula Hoodie
Mackage Leather Jacket
Calvin Klein Opaque Tights
For my fellow Twilighters, I decided to also post photos of Twilight Collector's Edition Although the book is beautiful, it is only worth buying if you're (A) a book collector or (B) a crazy obsessed Twilight fan. In my case it is more B as opposed to A.

The gorgeous book includes a slide- in case, and the book is covered in beautiful cloth. The inside pages are made of top quality paper with beautiful calligraphy, and the front page features Stephanie Meyer's signature. It also includes an attached ribbon book mark.

P.S.I am currently working on my Spring shopping list...
What are your must haves for this spring?
With Love...
Marta
Hello Darlings,
Happy Belated Valentine's Day. Sorry for the late update, but I just returned from my own Valentine's weekend. I am obsessed with Giambattista Valli and drew my inspiration from his spring collection for my V-day outfit. I wanted something pretty, edgy, romantic and fun - so wore my trusty Alexander Wang dress. I just love how flirty it makes me feel, paired with my favorite booties and leather jacket to give it some edge... :P

The little bows running along the back of my leg was a surprising touch.
Definitely a good way to bring sttention to your legs.

Tip: Seductive tights can make a boring dress look fabulous. Actually, I love wearing pretty tights every day. They are a fun and easy way to bring life to your cold weather wardrobe. My Tights - check out this site, they have the best variety of tights. As for Canadians, I suggest Legs Beautiful or Winners for awesome selection.

I am wearing: Alexander Wang Dress Mackage Leather Jacket Joe Boxer Tights Coach Patent Leather Wristlet Swarovski Necklace and Bracelet
I wore matching Swarovski Love necklace and bracelet to make my outfit feel more special and Valentine-y. As for make up, well I hate wearing much - so a little blush, mascara and pretty lip gloss did the job. The fabric of the dress is so delicate I wanted to keep everything else light and simple.

P.S. I just bought a pair of shoes that I've been dying for, and finally found them 65 % off and they are perfection. Can't wait to share them with you :)
Also, I finally received my Twilight collectors edition - so I will review and post some pics.
Hello Lovelies, Over a certain period of time, I have received quite a few e-mails and comments regarding my "student budget" and how I manage to afford my wardrobe. Although some might disagree with some of my choices and other might like them, in the end it all comes down to what I like.Because style is personal.
I am very thankful to those who continue to support my blog and express their opinions... it means so much to me. However, although I do appreciate negative comments/e-mails as well. Since honesty, for me, is one of the most cherished qualities. I found some questions to be inappropriate. Although I completely understand that curiosity is part of the human nature, I do not feel comfortable answering questions such as " if you have a job?"; " what do you do for a living?"; "how much do you make" etc...
I do not mean to be rude in any way, but I really do not see how this is relevant to this blog. My blog is just a way for me to express my interest in fashion and share it with others who feel the same. And if any part of my wardrobe, personality, style or even budget bother you - for that I apologize but I do not see the need for me to justify my choices and lifestyle.
I don't feel comfortable discussing private details of my life or disclosing any parts of my income.... In no way do I want to be rude, but I do hope that some people might understand why and respect that.
I am really excited to talk about my wardrobe and my attitudes toward dressing, etc.
Since I do like certain things, and I am not willing to compromise on. I found ways that work for me and compromising my expectations is not one of them. It is just a matter of learning how to organize your closet, learning to be patient and how to prioritize. It is not all about money, but about shopping with a certain mind set.
I am no fashion guru and in no ways am I advising anyone... these are my thoughts and ideas and I apply them only to myself :)... So if in any way I say something that might seem offensive.... I apologize.

That's also why it is important to know your wardrobe. When you know what you like/dislike and need/don't need it is easier to take a full advantage of sales.Just because I don't need sandals now, doesn't mean that I won't need them in the summer. Therefore, if I come across a pair I love and that will work with my wardrobe and the price is right... I will buy them. Knowing what you need is the key and then just being patient until it comes to you. It is easy to just go and buy a pair of $350 dollar sandals but it takes patience to buy those exact sandals for $100.
Here's how I organize my wardrobe, with some of my favorite choices.

Saving Tip: Club Monaco now offers college student 20% discount on regular and sale price items. You have to ask for it and show your student ID. (click)
Long Sleeve

I think that the best way to buy a going out top is on sale. I would never spend $200-$250 on a top, but with a sale you can score it for a half or quarter of the regular price. Just be patient. Don't buy it last minute - you'll end up spending a lot and have limited options.

Remember, Details are important - a wrong choice of undergarment can make an outfit look trashy.

Then occasionally I resort to mini's/pencil skirts and rarely to shorts.
Sweaters

As for going out...

I love shoes... they are fabulous and amazing. That's all to it!!!

I think that every girl needs to own one pair of shoes that are only for special occasions that make her feel like a Cinderella. My glass slippers are by Ruthie Davis and I love them to death - plus, the Swarvoski crystals on the heels are a perfect touch. I got the on sale from $650 to $200 - so to need to to splurge but look and be patient.

Purses

Well here's a quick look at my favorite pieces of my closet ... I try to have a balance between all categories.
LASTLY

In the end, all that matter is that you like it. It doesn't matter if others like it...It is all about you. And trust me, money is not something that will make you feel or look great it is all about your imagination.

Marta
Hello Darlings,
Exams are driving me crazy and the only positive thing right now is that Andrew organized a special Valentine's weekend. My only concern, is what to wear? I am thinking of something pretty, feminine, but with an edge. Maybe my Alexander Wang dress, because it is is pink.
While everyone is obsessing with edgy Balmain, I am obsessing over classic Giambattista Valli. In my eyes, his work is the epitome of femininity and grace! And when dressing this Valentine's weekend I am definitely going to keep his vision in my mind :)
I adore the gentle neutral color palate. After seeing these beautifies, not only do I miss my ballet tutu but I am also obsessively looking for a tulle/ruffle skirt :)
How incredible are these dresses? Omg ... I'm in love. If I ever decide to get married, this is what I want my dress to look like. Actually, I would marry just to wear a dress as beautiful as this...
The little bows, ruffles, and barely there make up give that sensual and feminine feel. Meanwhile, the sexy heels add a touch of sex appeal and edge to the perfectly polished gowns. Well, this post really did take me into the world of princesses and charming princes but reality is awaiting for me along with David and Goya.
Remember Love is in the Air...
