Ann Taylor: Spot The Polka Dot

Hello Darlings, I have never been a lover of polka-dots. Show me stripes and I am all in, but something about polka dots intimidate me!

Lately, dots are everywhere, from Marc Jacob's new scent "The Dot" to the spotty 2013 ensembles from Diane Von Furstenberg, Jason Wu and Jenny Packham. So to add a dash of dots to my own wardrobe, a few weeks ago I picked up these dotted darlings from the new Ann Taylor store just opened in the Toronto Eaton Centre.

I love the polka dots, especially paired with this blouse also from Ann Taylor. The above photos were taken in parc Mont Royal this past weekend on a beautiful fall day. And while in Toronto last week to speak at the She's Connected Conference, I also picked up this adorable rain coat from Ann Taylor - and love this pic taken in front of the Fairmont Royal York on a foggy fall day!

Ann Taylor opened their first Canadian store at the Toronto Eaton Centre, and hosted a special event on October 5th. I couldn't attend that night (working on a big new project in Montreal), but thanks to Elaine Atkins of Toronto Beauty Reviews for attending on behalf of With Love Gabrielle. Here is she wrote about the new store and her experience:
