SoHo Met: Shopaholic Dream Stay

Hello Darlings, With just a week before Christmas, I was kindly invited to enjoy a Shopaholic Dream Stay at SoHo Metropolitan  in Toronto. With welcome gifts from Coach, Yves Rocher and French Connection, and special holiday discounts for my shopping excursions, it was a delightful present to spoil myself while seeking to spoil my loved ones. Christmas shopping can be an arduous task with the mad rush in stores at this time of the year.

This year, I dedicated a weekend to Christmas shopping and myself. It was a win-win situation. As not only did I get most of my shopping done but also had an opportunity to spoil myself and have fun with the girlies!

SoHo Metropolitan is conveniently located on Wellington Street, which is within walking distance of Queen Street and Eaton Centre shopping, as well as the entertainment district and King Street West. From shopping in the morning to fun times at the entertainment district—it was a new take on Christmas shopping.

With an early morning and a cup of Americano, I was ready to tackle the holiday shopping crowds. With a list at hand and a precise strategy in mind, holiday shopping just seemed easier this year. After spending hours on the internet researching gifts, I knew exactly what I wanted to buy and in some cases placed the items on hold. Calling in ahead of time and placing an item on hold not only prevents a disappointment but also saves time. Christmas is all about strategy and I am sure most of you are savvy shoppers :)

Following hours of shopping, I enjoyed some unwind time with a lengthy swim and in the hot tub reading a magazine. After all, the holidays are all about cheer, so why not enjoy some peace and pampering! The day was complete by a lovely dinner at a tony little restaurant on King Street, and a lengthy bubble bath in SoHo’s super large bathtub!

Sunday offered yet more surprises, including a fun brunch with my girlies at Nyood! More on that in the next post, in the meantime happy shopping and keep smiling because Christmas is all about joy and holiday spirit :)

With Love...

Marta
