Loving Frank by Nancy Horan Review - Video

That sad moment when you flip to the last page of the book, a farewell to a character that you’ve spent the last couple of weeks with. What a hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking image of Mamah Borthwick, Nancy Horan portrayed in her debut novel, Loving Frank.

I really enjoyed the novel. It’s a great portrait of a woman on a path to self discovery and finding her passion in life. I chose to read it because as a architecture student I l loved learning about Wright’s work. The ending of the book is very unexpected! For those familiar with the gruesome massacre at his Taliesin property in Wisconsin then you know what happened.
