Holt Renfrew Last Call

Hello Darlings,

I am FREE AT LAST!!! YAY! Done my exams and just taking it easy for the next two or three weeks and then only time will tell!   But, that is a whole different topic to explore, as for today I just wanted to share a quick outfit!

Since I am done with probably the most challenging academic year of my life, my mom and I decided to celebrate with some shopping :) I know, I am making excuses just to shop! We stopped by Sherway Gardens but left empty handed, and then headed to  Holt Renfrew Last Call where I bought the cutest pair of Burberry jeans and the prettiest Candace Ang Headband.

The jeans were 65% off and cost a little over $100, which is amazing for Burberry. I am addicted to finding quality items but at an affordable price. I was never one to over-pay for designers, I just learned to find awesome deals. You can totally call me a label whore on a budget, I can't believe I just called myself that.

On another note, I am loving the lingerie trend... it is so sensual and pretty! Well, with an exception that the lingerie must match the garment ( no red on black action). So I bought a pretty bralette that looks like a cropped cami and decided to pair it with a simple semi-sheer tee. IT IS NOT AS SHEER AS IN THE PICTURES, IT'S THE FLASH! Despite being a bit apprehensive, I do like the look... as long as I have a jacket, blazer or sweater on top. That way it is more of a peek-a-boo effect! It was a daring step for me, but I just like the combination of casual with a touch of unexpected. I crossed my comfort zone and felt proud of doing it :P

As for the rest of the outfit, I paired my newly favorite pair of Wang pants with brogues and leather jacket. Simple and easy. As the finishing touch, I had to wear the new headband out of the store! I love it soo much and was too eager to wear it! The detailing is amazing... a cure bow made out of a zipper! How brilliant is that?

The designer of this headband is Candace Ang! She  is a jewelry and fashion designer based in Vancouver, Canada. I am always proud to support Canadian talent and cannot wait to see Candace Ang's clothing line :) I adore easy and effortless piece that do not require lots of planning. All those bad hair days can now be cute, and that is the beauty finding perfect headpieces!

I am wearing:
Talula Babaton Semi-Sheer Tee — from Aritzia
Blush Lace Bralette — from Winners
T by Alexander Wang Sweatpants — from Revolveclothing.com

A.V.Max Studd Cuff — from Bluefly.com
Tiffany& Co Key Necklace — gift from Andrew
Candela "Tokyo" Brogues - from Revolveclothing.com

Well, I am off to work on the store.... who knew it is so much work  :P But it is almost ready! Spring Closet Overhaul is underway... I have lots to share and new posts to write up! Also, Andrew and I are planning on checking out Toronto's Alternative Arts& Fashion Week!!! It is an annual multi-arts event which features 200 national and international designers, visual artists, bands and performers every year. I've never had the chance to check it out but I feel that this is year!!!

But I must ask.... I know, I am so nosy :P
