Dressed by Pink Tartan

Hello Darlings,

With rooms full of feminine and classic clothing that Pink Tartan is known for, it was natural to have the "like a kid in a couture candy store" Carrie moment! That was my initial reaction at Pink Tartan's Style Lab.

With clothing, mannequins, fabric samples and all things beautiful...it was hard to stay composed and focussed. After all, I was there to pull winter fashions for an upcoming photo shoot. With help from the lovely Lauren and Kim, the task proved to be lots of fun. What could be better than to spend a morning playing dress-up with a group of girls!

The world fashion is a dangerous playground! One runs a risk of losing all their senses at the sight of a frock so charming that you would give anything up to have it. In yours truly's case, it was a snow-white bomber with a fur detail so pretty that I just couldn't stop adoring. It's unattainable status of post-production made it that much more desirable. Case closed, I really loved that jacket.

All of the clothing is by Pink Tartan, except my own outfit

With a photo shoot's theme of looks for extreme cold winter weather, who better to choose that a Canadian girl for this task?! With a hint of wool and a touch of cashmere and a little fur here and a bit of knit there, we Canadians brave the winters in heels too.

I AM WEARING:
Club Monaco Cashmere Sweater
BCBG Max Azria Suui Pointelle Skirt
Juicy Couture  Watercolor Dot Silk Scarf
La Baccarina Leather and Suede Thigh High Boots

As I was determined to prove that winter can be chic and fashionable, I was looking to create winter appropriate looks for cocktail soiree, business chic and everyday beautiful. After all, just because we are in a snow-bank it does not mean that we don't have a party to attend and look chic doing it.

Paris might know couture, New York might know hip, but Toronto knows cold!

With Love...

Marta
