Cat's Meow: Breaking The Redhead Rules

Hello Darlings, I remember seeing Victoria Beckham for the first time wearing THAT cat print dress as she was carrying her baby girl. There was a touch of innocence and playfulness in the print. The crepe de chine dress was from Beckham's new Victoria by Victoria Beckham S/S 2012 collection, which was followed by precious cat print shoes in collaboration with Charlotte Olympia.

It was a parade of the cutest prints since Miu Miu S/S 2010 collection with which I am still obsessed. Ahhh... if only I could get my hands on those satin Miu Miu mary janes!

My fascination with cutesy prints and quirky styles began with Miss Marc and then Marc by Marc's Mouse Flats. Or perhaps because I completely fell in love with Marc's quirky approach to fashion. What, can I say I am not predictable at all! Show me an adorable graphic, perhaps a bit of pink, a little ruffle and a bow and I'll be swooning!

I AM WEARING: Zara Cat Print Blouse // Club Monaco Zowie Skirt // Miu Miu Zebra Suede Flats // Kate Spade Little Blaine Satchel // YSL Arty Ring // Kate Spade Retro Sunglasses

My latest addition to my cutesy wardrobe is this Zara cat print blouse that I wore for an afternoon at Yorkville's new restaurant, The Oxley. Although I lack a bit of confidence in wearing red, I really love this top. Being a redhead, wearing red is against any book of fashion rules! Having a red purse is one thing, but wearing red is often fashion suicide for a ginger like me. Well, following rules was never really for me. Love/Hate red on red but I sure loved wearing it!

With Love...

Marta
