Talking About Feelings

Hello Darlings,  One feature of a woman is supposedly the awesome quality where we can communicate easily. I am speaking of that magical ability to express ourselves and especially our feelings. Apparently, it is in of our DNA to be able to identify a feeling, talk about it for hours and then solve the issue. Well, unlike my female counterparts, sadly I didn't receive this gift, and am a bit of an emotional twit!

It seems that my ability and patience to talk about my feelings is the same as that of a man! Every emotional conversation these days seems to drive me to a state of anger, and always ends with absolute confusion. Not sure why or when I lost my female abilities, but I am starting to realize that sensibility is just not my thing! Aside from random cases of "female emotional" state of wanting to cry and over-eat chocolate — I am sure we can all relate — I  just don't get it!

Research shows that women use 20,000 words a day compared to 7,000 that a man uses! While it is a popular belief that women want men to open and up and talk about their feelings, and then listen about ours, I say it's a myth!

I AM WEARING: J.Crew Heartbreakers Sweater // BCBG Max Azria Suui Pointelle Skirt // Manolo Blahnik Suede and Leather Booties // Coach Madison Lindsey Satchel // Pandora Leather Charm Bracelet

Really what woman has the time or wants to spend her fabulous evening  moping? Naturally, there are times that require serious discussion, but the concept  that a woman wants to discuss every emotional detail from her day is absolutely not true - at least in my case! I might wear my heart of my sleeve but I sure don't want to talk about it. Maybe on Valentine's Day? :P

What's your take, do you find it easy to talk about your feelings?

With Love...
