With Love... Wraps On a Sour Note:TIFF

Hello Darlings,

Every September, the eyes of celebrity and fashion reporters are focused on the now famous Toronto International Film Festival. The likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Madonna  grace the city and downtown is a spectacle of star-watchers and media scrums. The city buzzes with energy and parties.  Today is the last day of TIFF, which ran from September 8th-18th.

Despite having to have had a full agenda with many films, events and parties; it was following an unexpected and unfortunate medical emergency that my TIFF experience was spoiled! Despite giving it my best effort and trying to get back into flow of things, the recovery is taking longer than first anticipated. I do however have a few of images to share as I really did enjoy dressing up and adored by outfits :)

My experience with TIFF began with a Skyy Vodka VIP event followed by The Spoke Club Annual Canadian Filmmakers Party. For the evening, I wore my  BCBG lace cocktail dress with YSL heels and 3.1 Philip Lim clutch. It was an unforgettable evening!

I am wearing:
BCBG Max Azria Lace Cocktail Dress
Diane Von Furstenberg Roccoco Armour Jacket
3.1 Philip Lim Berry Clutch in gold
 YSL Trooper Heels
 YSL Crafty Ring

I am wearing:
 Talula Babaton Silk Blouse
Robbi & Nikki by Robert Rodriguez Feather Skirt
Davis by Ruthie Davis Swarosvki Embellished Heels
 Marc by Marc Jacobs Clutch

The next and final attempt at attending TIFF in a semi-alright state was at the Dress to Kill Magazine event at La Societe which was then cut loose in favor of an intimate dinner at One Restaurant. Following the failed attempt to get back into the flow of TIFF, I decided that it be best to lay back and relax in bed while working away. I did however love my outfit! Combination of feathers with a simple silk shirt, Ruthie Davis Swarovski studded heels and a Marc Jacobs metallic clutch were definitely a match that I was quite proud of!
