Veld Music Festival 2013
Hello Darlings, In the midst of a long weekend with ideal weather, I attended my first outdoors music festival — Veld Music Festival.
Yes, typically not the girl that you would find hanging out on a huge field in the middle of nowhere, with a beer bottle and 50,000 people. However, this time I was caught off guard and loved the experience!
Veld Music Festival is an annual electronic dance music festival spanning across 2 days in Downsview Park, Toronto. With over 30 internationally acclaimed acts, I really enjoyed the lineup which included my favorite Above & Beyond and Deadmau5.
I spend most of the evenings just dancing my little heart out with my best friend. The festival is open to all ages. It does offer a VIP area which is worth the splurge. Since I am overwhelmed by large crowds having space that is close to the stage and not overly crowded was a blessing. I also really liked the Bacardi tent which offered a more intimate setting and variation of DJs. The overall atmosphere is really laid-back with thousands of really happy people :) In fact, I've never seen this many happy folks in one place.
The overall event was well organized by INK Entertainment and offered great security. When dealing with such huge masses, security is of great importance and in this case, I felt very safe.
I spent the two days in my new Citizen of Humanity denim shorts and Coach sneakers and just changed the blouses. For events such as these it is best to be comfortable but also have fun with the wardrobe. For daytime be sure to wear lots of sunblock and go for as little make up as possible. It's all about fun!

With Love...
