Shoe Whore

Fashion designers are notorious for creating impossible to wear, yet stunningly beautiful shoes. As stiletto's grow higher and skinnier, and the designs stranger every every season, the question is HOW FAR WILL YOU GO FOR FASHION?
I am a lover of outrageous but ooh so beautiful heels, even if they are unwearable for almost any occasion.. and even if they are impossible to do what they are supposedly designed for (to actually walk in them)... Is this the definition of a "shoe whore"?
Ruthie Davis shoes are a WORK OF ART. Albeit a little expensive ($600-$800), I could not resist these. Although they are in a classic Mary Jane style, they come with several twists including pearlized patent leather with a 4.5" architectural heel that is accented with Swarovski crystals and contains a chrome metal insert. Ruthie Davis designs are famous for architectural precision and sleek aesthetic sensibility. It is rare that I have an appropriate occasion to wear them, but I love the shoes so much and still obsess about them...
