Rag & Bone/Jeans

Hello Darlings, Sometimes all that a girl needs is a curve-hugging pair of jeans! It is the pair that makes her legs look leaner and her  confidence soar. In the words of Yves Saint-Laurent, "I have often said that I wish I had invented blue jeans: the most spectacular, the most practical, the most relaxed and nonchalant. They have expression, modesty, sex appeal, simplicity - all I hope for in my clothes." That perfect pair will make you feel like a denim goddess! So, yes my point is that every girl needs to have that pair!

That said, finding that perfection is easier said than done.  A pair of jeans has single-handedly become a can't-live-without item on every woman's list since the early teenage rebellion days of the 1950s. It wasn't until the 1980s that the denim went high fashion and every designer began making their own. So brace yourself for the ultimate denim hunt.

The moment you step your foot into a department store, you're overwhelmed. With an abundant choice of colors, styles, and washes — the initial instinct is to run! Don't! The more choices you have, the better.

When it was my turn, I grabbed every pair of skinny dark jeans in my size and headed to the change room. That's right ladies, sometimes that's what it takes! It took me 32 pairs of jeans and two hours to finally find one that I loved. To my surprise, it was from Rag & Bone/Jeans.

I AM WEARING: Juicy Couture Striped Top // Juicy Couture Tweed Clara Jacket // Rag & Bone Legging Jeans // Rag & Bone Harrow Booties // Marc by Marc Jacobs Watch // Kate Spade Bow Bridge Little Kennedy Purse

I've always worn 7 for All Mankind or Rich & Skinny but as my favorites did not work out as expected, I was pleasantly surprised to find a new favorite. Rag & Bone is one of the hippest New York exports and their booties have  developed a cult-like following. Despite being obsessed with their Harlow booties, I was not expecting the denim to be awesome. Why? I've always believed that jeans are best cut by a brand that specialized  only in denim. Wrong!

See what happens when you assume?! You miss out! Now that I've found a pair that I love, do I buy multiples of the exact pair because dark wash always fades fast?Instead of picking up two pairs, I decided to research the best way to care for denim. It turns out that most denim brands have a care guide available on their site or you can check out this one from J.Crew. Basically, the trick is to wash it as little as possible.

Now that we've discussed all about denim dos and don'ts... time for your perfect pair!

With Love...

Marta
