Prepping for Fall

Hello Darlings, With this being the last week of August, my mind is easing into the shopping mode! With the turn of every season comes the great task of updating our seasonal wardrobe. Since Canadian winters tend to sneak up on us in November, this is precisely the reason why shopping needs to be done early. Trust me, no girl wants to be stuck in freezing weather feeling frumpy.

I am sure that many of you are thinking as why I am even bringing up this dreadful topic! It is precisely for the reason I mentioned above. As distant as it might seem, cold weather is unfortunately just weeks away. Due to that fact alone, it is important to start organizing your cold weather wardrobe in August rather than October. By October you will need luck on your side in a mission of finding a chic parka that will keep you warm and looking fabulous. Lots of luck!

Footwear is another sore topic of this discussion as the thought of salt makes me want to cry for days. The number of shoes that have been ruined due to salt stains breaks my heart. Winters tend to sneak up on us and it is important to have proper footwear as well as an excellent cobbler ( aka the shoe repair guy).

I AM WEARING: Zara Sweater // BCBG Max Azria Sabrina Lace Skirt // Rag & Bone Harrow Booties // Marc Jacobs Sutton Purse // Ray Ban Sunnies

Over the past few years, my cobbler has become one of the most important men in my life and only comes after my favorite hair dresser! I see him a number of times per month and we share great passion for beautiful footwear and he knows best how to extend their lifespan. That's the thing about shoes, every woman loves them and will break the budget for a perfect pair. However after one naughty night out those beautiful heels will feel as louse as you do the morning after.Or even worse, winter comes around and there's no way to avoid being outside!

So to beat the seasonal blues start the shopping early and enjoy the adventure. Also, to prepare for the shoe-destructive season by invest your time in finding a qualified cobbler. I promise that your shoes will thank me!

With Love...

Marta
