My 22nd Birthday Party...

Hello Darlings,

Among all things fun happening in my life, I just celebrated my 22nd birthday in the company of friends and family this past weekend. It was a perfect way to wrap up a wonderful summer and spend much needed quality time with my loved ones.

I can't thank enough everyone for making my birthday so special. Thank you :)

This year instead of taking a trip for my birthday, I planned an intimate dinner for twelve of my closest friends at Le Petit Castor in Rosedale. The evening was perfect and one of my besties ordered one of my favorite cakes and topped it all off with candles and a birthday song :)

The venue was charming. Overall: fantastic company, great food and intimate setting. The following day, I had a big dinner at home with my whole family which is always a  great pleasure and results in tons of new memories :)

Besides the joyful celebrations, my friends and family have really spoiled me with gifts and wishes. I don't feel comfortable recounting the gifts but I do want to share one that you're going to be seeing a lot of.  A new Marc by Marc Jacobs purse that my parents gifted me. I've wanted this baby for a while but felt too guilty spending that much... It was truly a great surprise :) Along with the purse my parents treated me to a shopping spree in order to pick out a birthday outfit. Nothing extravagant, just a simple look for a quite evening! But I still felt like a princess...

I am wearing:
♥ Talula Dress—from Aritzia, Yorkdale
♥ Henry Duarte No. Q65 lamb leather blazer—a gift
♥ Pedro Garcia "Mary Jane" Pump—from Holts Last Call
♥ Marc by Marc Jacobs Bow Percy Purse— a gift
♥ A.V.Max Studded Cuff—from bluefly.com

For my birthday, I wanted a simple and classic look.  A dress that was tailored but still possessed a feminine touch. I was looking for a structured tweed dress but found one even more versatile. I came across this cutie in Aritzia and fell in love, it's cotton but the structure and details are stunning... a perfect choice! To finish the look, I decided on a simple kimono style leather blazer and a pair of mary-jane's. Personally, I love this look... because I feel like it is very ME :)

P.S. I apologize for inconsistent posting... My daily routine has resumed, so look forward to regular 3-4 posts a week :) If you have suggestions or questions please do not hesitate to leave them in comments section :) Thank you for being such amazing readers!!!

Wishing Everyone a Beautiful Day!!!

With Love...
