Lush Cometics Review By Anum Khan

Hello Darlings,

Thanks to the many readers who asked about crafting reviews from attending events for WithLoveGabrielle.com Excited to publish reviews from some fab writers, with this first one written by SUMMERXSKIN author Anum Khan who attended Lush Cosmetics launch of their Halloween and Holiday goodies.

Without further adieu here is Anum's review of Lush Cosmetics fall event:

LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics FUN collection really is true to its name. The launch event - held at their flagship Queen Street West store - had different stations with lots of activities for guests to explore. Pictured is the lovely Courtney McGeever, who lives in New York City, but manages Canadian PR for Lush Cosmetics.

FUN is a multi-purpose soap that can be used for your hands, body, hair, bath and you can even wash your clothes with it. There are five different types of soap in the collection, which are made of flour, talc and glycerine. The soap is great for children since it's similar to play-doh, so they can create shapes while getting clean at the same time!

On a side note, a portion of the global sales will go into FunD, a movement that distributes grants to charities that host recreational activities for children in unfortunate surroundings. Currently, LUSH is working with organizations in Fukushima, Japan - site of the nuclear disaster in 2011.

The main station was "Fresh, Handmade, FUN!" where experts from the factory came to show us how the new handmade bubble bars are made. This is what the soap looks like before they begin to wrap it into individual packs. I got to touch and play with it, and they were right, it is exactly like play-doh!

Above all the different scents and aromas in the store, the pumpkin spice soap bar was the strongest. I was immediately drawn into them when I walked in, and couldn't leave without getting one for myself!

Thanks Anum for a fun article, and thanks Lush Cosmetics for the event invitation!

With Love...
