Dress to Sparkle

Hello Darlings, December is a month of lights, snow and feasts; time to make amends and tie loose ends; finishing off what you have started and hope your wishes come true. It is a magical time when families and friends come together to share memories and create new ones. With many holiday soirees in your time planner, it is also the time when the joy of dressing up kicks into an overdrive. After all, isn't dressing up for all of the parties half the fun?

This time of the year is the perfect occasion for opulent fabrics and of course cashmere. Think: luxe, cozy and sparkly!  The key to being holiday ready is as simple as taking the time to plan various looks ahead of time. As the invites come in and your agenda begins to fill up, take some time to not only organize your time but also to create a holiday wardrobe. Take an evening to peruse through your wardrobe organizing outfits that you already have and want to wear and from there decide on what your holiday wardrobe lacks.

It is best to have planned individual outfits for every invite ahead of time rather than deciding the day of. Holiday season is packed with photo ops where you don’t want to be caught wearing the same look twice. It is all in the strategy!

As I prepare to celebrate and host Tommy Hilfiger’s Holiday Party this upcoming Thursday, I spent the day with the team coming up with holiday looks that will adorn the mannequins.  More details on that to come as you’ll all be invited!  I also took the time to find myself a hostess outfit for this exciting occasion.  If you’re looking for a little holiday inspiration, join me in celebrating this wonderful season with a toast.

I AM WEARING: Cut25 by Yigal Azrouë Bomber // Rag & Bone Legging Jeans // Rag & Bone Harrow Booties // Alexander Wang Rockie Satchel

Also, share the cheer by using the hashtag #THCanadianHoliday and  Tommy Hilfiger will donate $1 to Autism Speaks Canada!  Let’s make it count.

With Love…
