Blue Mountain Autumn Experience

Hello Darlings, Fall is the most beautiful season in Canada! Well, at least that's what I want to believe :)  It is a magical time for the senses with all the beautiful changing colors of leaves, and the sunny yet crisp autumn weather. Plus I love wearing cashmere and the weather is perfect for wool sweaters. Yesterday, marked the first day of fall, so happy fall everyone!

This year, the transition to fall seems a bit sneaky as I've  haven't yet unpacked any of my cold-weather wardrobe. With such a fun summer, transitioning my wardrobe may be difficult as I'm not really ready to say farewell to my summer. There were so many  fun events in rapid succession with Montreal Fashion Week and Toronto International Film Festival, so I would love for summer to continue a little longer!

Many thanks to Blue Mountain Resort who were kind enough to invite me to try their Autumn Experience package earlier this week, which was a great way to get me in the spirit of the season. Fall is breathtaking in the countryside north of Toronto, and my few days at the resort on the shore of Ontario's Georgian Bay was filled with lots of super fun activities.

Blue Mountain Resort is a long-time favorite of my family — my father and I have been skiing there 10 years —  so it interesting to see and experience the resort in a different season. There are numerous outdoors adventures that I reckon would be super fun to experience either as a couple or with a group of friends.

My favorites included my first experience on a Segway riding through the forest at the top of the mountain, and the super challenging ropes course were you make your way through various obstacles all while being on raised platforms suspended as much as 60 feet in the air - which is a bit intimidating but still awesome!

I AM WEARING:  Zara Láme Sweater // Marc by Marc Jacobs Hayworth Fur Vest // Juicy Couture Lace-Up Jeans // Michael Kors Watch // Bravo Browns Leopard Flat

Another treat of my getaway was wearing my favorite Marc by Marc Jacobs fur vest. It was the perfect weather for it, crisp but not too cold.I am now inspired to start the hunt for some new cashmere wardrobe additions of my own, since after all, fall is the season of layering!

With Love...
