Hello Darlings, As a few chilly evenings have assured me, fall is coming! And if you love summer, there are perks with some cooler weather. Fall is the best season for fashion, think cashmere and boots without the messy winter snow. Another perk is a warming cup of tea on a cool afternoon walk or cozy evening at home. So to help embrace the cooler autumn weather, my friends at DAVIDsTEA treated me to their Fall Tea Collection. And they also kindly offered this giveaway of their Fall Tea Collection for WithLoveGabrielle readers!
My Fall Tea Collection arrived a week ago. The collection includes five teas: Organic Persian Apple, Toasted Marshmallow, Pumpkin Chai, Banana Nut Bread, and Indian Summer. DAVIDsTEA also has special news as they are hosting a wonderful charity event at their downtown Montreal store located at 1310 Sainte-Catherine Street West (near the corner of the famous Crescent Street) on Wednesday, September 12th. Partnering with The Farha Foundation – Quebec’s leading fundraising organization helping men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS – this Wednesday from 8 am – 10 pm guests will be hosted by numerous Montreal celebrities and for a $5 donation will be treated to a free hot or cold cup of DAVIDsTEA and a cookie made by Appetite for Books. My favorite things about Fall are sipping a nice tea and the warmth and coziness I feel as it slides down my throat. I love the crackle and depth of beautiful fall leaves and jumping in them with my little girl. I love the knit scarves and dark boots and wool coats that fall the crisp fall air brings.

My favorite thing about fall is the cooler temperatures. Here in Florida (where we have no David’sTea), it gets nice, hot, and humid in the summer. Fall means that the weather starts getting nice outside and we don’t have to stay trapped inside anymore.

My favourite autumn things are
- the crackle of dry fallen leaves as you walk through them
- putting the heavy duvet on the bed along with cozy flannel sheets
- making yummy caramel apples that my 27 year old daughter still loves
- seeing the neighbours’ adorable kiddies in their Halloween costumes

My favorite thing about fall is the enormous “to-do” list that my friends and I all compile. It has things from “make a hearty vegan stew” to “visit haunted houses”. It keeps us busy doing really great things through-out the fall and we stay in touch as often as possible!

My favourite things are:
- walking (or, let’s face it, jumping when nobody’s around) through a large pile of fallen leaves. Grown ups don’t get to act like kids often enough!
- waking up to that slight chill in the air and knowing you get to burrow right back under your duvet for a little longer
- tea in a travel mug – never ceases to wow those around me when I take out loose tea from its secret compartment!
- breaking out the fall leather boots for the first time in a long time… and then immediately having to make a new outfit with skinny jeans and sweater, “just to see.”

My favourite fall things definitely include the usual things consisting of cooler weather, boots, sweaters, scarves, jackets and jumping in leaves. But I also love the start of a new school year and becoming organized once again. Creating a routine for a healthy lifestyle is something I try to accomplish every fall, and lovely fall teas fit perfectly!

I used to love going for long drives with my Granny up north. We would stare at all the beautiful trees and the changing colours of the leaves. Then we would go home and drink tea while painting re-creations of what we had just seen! Havent done it since my Granny passed last year

My favorite thing about fall is the color orange…anything that falls under that category, whether it be an orange sweater, a pumpkin spice drink, orange leaves or even an orange sky, its all beautiful and warms my heart with happiness. My heart probably turns orange at that moment too! =)

I love the temperature, its perfect in my opinion. Not too hot not too cold, and it’s an excuse to drink even more tea than I already do year round. Pumpkins, thanksgiving, halloween…my birthday. I love the clothing for this time of year, my finglerless gloves, boots, scarves, hats, sweaters. Then its all made even better by the colours that the trees turn. I have very fond memories of fall. When I was younger, I spent a lot of my free time at my grandparents house. One of the things we looked most forward to was fall, because that’s when we got to jump to leaves. You could never convince a child faster to do lawn chores then if there was a promise of leaves jumping. My grandparents had a huge tree in their back yard, which, naturally, had tons of leaves. We spent a good 30+ minutes racking all of the leaves into a pile underneath the Tree, near the swingset. Grampa would fetch his wooden ladder from the shed, prop it up next to the pile, and then we’d all rejoice! Jump and jump and jump. After every few jumps, the pile would have to be reshaped. My older brother and sister used to jump from the swing set into the pile of leaves, but I wasn’t big enough to do that. Afterwards we’d all go inside and enjoy a nice hot cup of lemon tea.

The most favorable thing I always look forward to for the fall season is bundling up in a sweater and something comfy! Every year it reminds me of my childhood and the memorable times with my family growing up. Ive been a figure skater most of my life so as soon as I feel the weather getting colder I know it’s time to step onto the ice ! I love fall because it allows me to think back of my life and look forward to the winter:)

I discovered Fall 4 years ago when I moved to Montreal and Pumpkin Chai last Fall and I absolutely LOVE all 3 of them. My favorite things about fall are:
1) Certainly all the beautiful colors that fill Nature.
2) The window displays on Saint Catherine.
3) All the fun things to do ( Apple picking, Baking, knitting…..)
4) Fall fashion is just amazing ( Boots, Scarfs, Blazers and gloves…)
5) And that little something in the air that you just can’t explain.

My favourite thing about fall here in Yellowknife is that the snow starts flying in big, fluffy white crystals, beneath the amazing Auroras, you can sit in wonderment for hours, as long as you have a big enough tea mug!

My favourite thing is going back to school in the fall! Being first time pregnant through the fall season has reinvented my love for it. The colours seem brighter and the cooler days are a sweet relief. I love Fall because of the crisp cool air (sweater weather), the beautiful colors everywhere (Trees, Pumpkins, and Apples), and i love how enjoyable being outdoors and drinking warm beverages is. I love the sound of crunching leaves as I walk down the street, but I’d have to say my favourite thing about Autumn is Thanksgiving! I love making turkey, stuffing, sweet potato casserole, candied parsnips, gravy, pecan pie… All of it! After all that work (and a healthy sampling of the food), I get to sit down and enjoy an evening with my family. Nothing better than that!

There are so many things I love about the fall! The leaves turning colors and making the outside into a natural art gallery, the cooler weather, and the Hollidas of fall are all wonderful. But I think one of my favorite things about the fall is all the wonderful sents and fall flavors that come out this time of year,pumpkin flavored everything!
Layering and boots!
Love the fall for it’s beautiful colours of rusts, reds, oranges, yellows, and greens in tree’s and plants, the crisper air and pumpkin spices in foods and drinks! To take a walk in crunchy leaves. To curl up in my favorite fall blanket, a good book and a great cup of some yummy hot flavored tea!
Love the change in weather and scenery and cozy layers of warm clothes.
I am always excited for fall because it means I can pull out my whool. whooly blankets, whooly socks, whooly gloves & whooly scarves. Heaven. If you add in a little cup of tea with that, well now we’re talkin’.
Anything David tea is great for fall. Add a cozy blanket and a fire and we’re all set!
I love all the fall clothing, changing of the leaves, and especially the comfort food
I love the crisp air. It’s Mother Natures way of letting us know Winter is on its way. The little kids at Halloween,looking at their innocent faces. It’s cuddling up in front of an open fire and sipping on a hot cup of tea from David’s Tea and grabbing the last days of summer.
My favourite thing about the fall is that it’s the perfect time to bring out a cup of earl grey in my favorite mug, a warm knitted sweater, fluffy sliippers, and feel guiltless enjoying a muffin or a cupcake while the weather changes unpredictably as the Chinooks roll through Calgary.
I love everything about fall. The deep colours, the fragrant aromas, the fashions (boots and hats) the warmth of the sun kissing your skin as the wind gently blows the colourfull leaves around you. What is most enjoyable however is the laughter of the children seeing their friends on the playground after the summer holidays, their excitement as they run through the leaves and splash in the puddles. Having a cup of Pumpkin Chai Tea at the end of the school day when they tell you about all the new adventures that unfolded since they left you in the morning and their plans for Halloween, the countdown begins

For me, it’s a three-way tie between the crisp feeling to the air, the autumn leaves (falling and piles, but not raking), and apples.

Oh, Fall. That crazy transition period of summer to snow. I do love the bright colors of the leaves, the crisp smell in the air and the satisfying “crunch” of walking in the woods. Trying to figure out the theme of my daughter’s upcoming birthday (this year is dinosaurs and princesses). Making homemade soups, stews, cookies and all those other good things that warm your house and your heart. You know Fall, except for the fact you herald Winter, you’re not so bad after all.

It’s been a tradition with my parents since we moved to Napanee and we still visit even now that they’re not living there anymore and neither am I.
-Going for walks in the evening with my boyfriend and listening to the crunching of leaves under our shoes.

-Christmas isn’t too far away when fall arrives which means baking cookies, making Christmas cake and making nuts and bolts (sort of like Bits and Bites for those not familiar) with my mom.

Best part of fall – I love the clothes!! Big sweaters, scarfs and layers in all different fall colours. I always associate it with new beginnings, most likely because it meant going back to school (new clothes, new school supplies, etc.). No longer in school but it still has that “new beginning” feeling to it!
There are too many things to list! Fall camping, the leaves turning, scarves, boots, pants, sweaters…not to mention using the crock pot and making big batches of soup, curling up with some tea and a good book, and actually being able to use a blanket!

David’s Tea is the best tea! Fall is my 2nd favorite season (spring being my 1st) and I love it because I can bring out the heavy wool throw blankets! The most wonderful thing to do is lay out on my deck in the chaise lounge with a heavy blanket, a book and a hot cup of tea while enjoying the fall colors, the crisp air and the little chickadees eating at the feeder.

As if I am finally within my element again. As a fashion-driven woman, the second I hear fall I think of equestrian-inspired outfits, lots of riding boots, and for some reason everything in my closet becomes very English Countryside. Tweeds, herringbone, houndstooth, and cozy sweaters with cables and fair isle stitching. I could go on, but needless to say, Fall is my favorite time of year!

I love fall! Fall is the most perfect season for long romantic walks in the park. My fav. park in Toronto is High Park, where you can walk for hours enjoying the sun, the beautiful breeze, and watching the leaves turn into a beautiful pallet of yellow-red colours.
Fall represents that wonderful time of change when the evenings start to get cooler, you can wear your favourite sweater, and evening walks are a wonderful end to the day. The leaves are changing, the grass is green again, and the crisp smell of falling leaves and the season to come hang in the air. My dog loves it too!

My absolute favourite thing about fall is going apple picking. I take an Friday afternoon off. I go into the country, take in the sights and smells, sit on some hay, pick my own apples (and eat one or two during the process) and buy delicious pies. I always have a fabulous time and always leave feeling happy and grounded! I <3 Fall!
I love fall simply because there is nothing more beautiful than a mid September- early October crisp blue sky. The weather is a little chilly, the sky is clear and the leaves are changing into gorgeous shades of orange, red and flecks of yellow. Fall showcases nature’s beauty and I love every bit of it. Plus snuggling up with warm sweet tea, it can’t get any better!

My favorite things about fall all revolve around the best holiday of the year – Halloween! I love carving pumpkins, placing fake cobwebs around the house (or perhaps just neglecting to dust the real ones?), and sewing a new silly costume each year in preparation for the big night. For me the best part is greeting and handing out candy to all the neighborhood trick-or-treaters into the spooky hours of the night, after which I relax alone by the fireplace (with a cozy blanket and a steamy mug of tea, of course!) and watch the same appropriately-themed movie every year – Hocus Pocus. Although I do love a good party, there’s nothing that can keep me from spending the night in for this yearly ritual.
I like the relaxed and comfortable feeling that Fall brings. I get to pull out my sweater and favourite jeans and don them for a walk in the crisp morning air to enjoy the changing colours of the leaves and the geese flying south for the winter.

Autumn is my favourite season! I love the cooler weather and the changing leaves. I love getting all cozy with a cup of Davids Tea and a good book when it’s raining outside!

Scarves! My mother knits me one every year, and though I live hours away from her, having a new one to wear every fall makes me feel like she’s close.
As much as I love my mom though, baked apples are a very close second. Especially when filled with walnuts and maple syrup.

the harvest of fresh vegetables from local farms. nothing tastes better then fresh corn on the cob and seeing all those lovely grapes ripening and being picked for next year’s tantalizing wine tasting.

My favourtie thing about fall is when the leaves change. Beautiful pops of red, yellow and orange all around you make the the world so much more magnificent. As the weather starts to get colder, nothing warms you up like a good cup of tea and the warmth of this colourful season.

Autumn is the best season – the garden gives us our last vegetables, we turn to apple picking and pumpkin pie. The air is crisp and cool, the light bright and clear. The leaves, horseback riding in the mountain to watch the colours change, spending the night cuddled together to keep warm. Woolen sweaters finding their way out of the closest, perhaps to get some squash soup spilled on? It’s the season where tea, coffee and hot chocolate become so comforting again. Back to class, children getting excited about a new year. And of course Halloween!

What could be better than all the beautiful colourful leaves falling! Nothing beats sitting out on the porch with the hot tea (that I won, of course) and looking at the colours of nature!
Fall is magical. It’s bursting with warm, beautiful colors. The changing trees and the cool breeze entice everyone to go outside and enjoy nature. It’s best enjoyed sitting in rocking chairs on a porch in Mississippi with a cup of David’s Tea. Everyone has their personal favorite- mine is a tossup between love tea #7 and movie night. My happiest moment of Fall is introducing someone to David’s Tea and seeing the joy they get from drinking it. Sharing tea with friends is the best way to celebrate the season. Wrapping these moments together with cardigans, riding boots and a good book can’t make life much better.

The best part of fall is needing tea to keep my hands warm on a crisp day. While wearing a toque and a down vest I love to take walks and see the leaves change color. Celebrating thanksgiving is the warmest day of the year so Autumn has great things to offer. From the Atlantic ocean lapping the rocky coast of Nova Scotia to the Rockie mountains lapping at the blue skies of Central Alberta, Halifax to Banff, there will always be a smile on my face, fall colored leaves on the ground and a David’s in my hands.
I stepped outside tonight and it smelled like fall. I cannot wait to go the pumpkin patch (I think I’m going to make that my birthday tradition for adulthood).
I’ve always grown up a summer baby (birthday’s in August) but recently I’ve been really getting into fall. Huge reason is the fashion, layers, scarves!, sweaters, boots. Also love the crispness of the air and the weather most days, it’s a combination of sunshine warmth and a cool breeze. It’s also more reasonable to buy a fancy Starbucks drink because who doesn’t want the specialty fall drinks.

Fall for me used to mean winter is coming, and I used to dread it. I mean, I hated it with a passion. I wouldn’t get excited, I would get depressed. A few years ago, I felt a shift. Somehow, something inside me changed, I don’t know how, but I physically and sprititually felt completely different. And fall became this big happy miracle that would happen once a year. It no longer brings a feeling of dread, it means hope, and happiness, and crispness and newness and love and joy! Everything about fall makes me so happy. The apples(only time in the WHOLE YEAR when I eat them!) and pumpkins are probably my fave part. The PERFECT sweater weather (cardigans are my fave). Boots are my fave shoes to shop for. I just feel so perfectly at peace in the fall. Sigh.
The best part of fall is cool air for sleeping!! And the clothes, I love fall clothes!

What I love about fall is that I started dating my husband years ago in the fall. It is a very romantic month to me. I am reminded of windy and wet weather, sweaters with skirts and tights, leather jackets, coffee and ofcourse road trips along winding roads while admiring fall foliage. Two years ago, my daughter was born in the fall. Now I love to dress her in corduroy blazers, wool tights, chic hats and gorgeous sweaters.
Fall reminds me of long walks in crisp weather, wrapped up in colourful scarves, cozy sweaters and boots, appreciating the vibrant reds, oranges and yellows of the leaves…which correspond with the aromatic, colourful DAVIDs Teas. With Fall, also starts the wait for Halloween and Thanksgiving and then the first snowfall of the season…
The other day I had their “Red velvet cake tea” with milk and agave, which was deep red in colour and satisfyingly rich in flavour! Now I can’t wait to try their Pumpkin chai and Love tea#7 and Mom’s apple pie and Carrot cake and oh, so many more…
My favorite so far is the “Ice cream birthday cake tea.” I enjoy it as a Latte. Sure satisfies my dessert craving! Can’t wait to go back to my favorite tea place with my friends and family here in Ottawa. It’s my “happy place.”

I love when the weather starts to cool down for fall and wearing comfy sweaters, scarves, and boots is appropriate again. I also get excited for the pumpkin, apple, and spice flavours that gain popularity during this time of the year. Finally, taking my dog for walks in the fall is also so nice – her fascination with the leaves on the ground is adorable.

A few of the things I love most are the chance to slow down a bit that comes with the season, the smell of fall in the air (you know it when you smell it), the new veggies and fruits that come out at this time, and holidays.

We also can’t forget that there’s nothing quite like fresh, hand picked apples. Whether it’s in a pie or apple sauce or just all on its own, a fresh Macintosh is the way to go!
But there is one more thing that makes autumn the best season of all, and that’s my birthday! Which also falls on thanksgiving which means I get the all the fixings! It’s great to sit around with family and enjoy the time together over some freshly made apple cider.

I love the crispness in the air, the changing colors, all things pumpkin, and the richness of flavours that seem to go along with fall.
While Fall means the return of college classes and the hard work these classes requires, it also means scarves and boots, and the gorgeous colors of the changing leaves on the trees. However, my favorite part of Fall would be getting to leave the windows open at night despite how cold it gets and bundling up under the blankets because it reminds me of camping (minus the hard ground!).

I love fall for the sheer variety of pumpkiny goods. Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pie, cream cheese pumpkin bars (something I am making for a party tonight!), overnight pumpkin oatmeal… the possibilities are ENDLESS. On another note, I also love that going for a run doesn’t result in buckets of sweat or shivering the entire time… the temperature is justttttt righhhttt

I grew up in Venezuela where it’s warm all the time so I love the changing seasons. I love the colours of fall and I enjoy the crisp air that hints at winter.
I love hiking with the beautiful leaves changing colours and the smell of wood, bonfires, and apples in the air.
My favorite part would have to be getting the big comfortable chair at a coffee shop and snuggling in for an afternoon with hot drinks and a book. Sunday will be the rest of To Kill a Mockingbird and trying some of those teas.
