Hello Darlings,  One feature of a woman is supposedly the awesome quality where we can communicate easily. I am speaking of that magical ability to express ourselves and especially our feelings. Apparently, it is in of our DNA to be able to identify a feeling, talk about it for hours and then solve the issue. Well, unlike my female counterparts, sadly I didn’t receive this gift, and am a bit of an emotional twit!

It seems that my ability and patience to talk about my feelings is the same as that of a man! Every emotional conversation these days seems to drive me to a state of anger, and always ends with absolute confusion. Not sure why or when I lost my female abilities, but I am starting to realize that sensibility is just not my thing! Aside from random cases of “female emotional” state of wanting to cry and over-eat chocolate — I am sure we can all relate — I  just don’t get it!

Research shows that women use 20,000 words a day compared to 7,000 that a man uses! While it is a popular belief that women want men to open and up and talk about their feelings, and then listen about ours, I say it’s a myth!

I AM WEARING: J.Crew Heartbreakers Sweater // BCBG Max Azria Suui Pointelle Skirt // Manolo Blahnik Suede and Leather Booties // Coach Madison Lindsey Satchel // Pandora Leather Charm Bracelet

Really what woman has the time or wants to spend her fabulous evening  moping? Naturally, there are times that require serious discussion, but the concept  that a woman wants to discuss every emotional detail from her day is absolutely not true – at least in my case! I might wear my heart of my sleeve but I sure don’t want to talk about it. Maybe on Valentine’s Day? :P

What’s your take, do you find it easy to talk about your feelings?

With Love…

Marta

I am exactly like you! I find it so hard to really talk about my feelings. I probably use 20,000 words a day, but barely any of those will be about my feelings!
And the heart print sweater is the cutest.

Totally agree. I rarely if ever talk about feelings. If I have to say something important to my BF or my family regarding emotions and all that stuff, then I sit down with them and say it bluntly. No beating around the bush and wasting time. I think that’s totally immature. Besides…saving all those feelings and writing someone a nice letter that they can keep in their wallet, or posted on their fridge, is equally, if not more sentimental. <3

talking about my feelings is not something I enjoy haha but sometimes you just have to do it otherwise I’ll just end up angry. I do think it’s necessary to talk things through but for me actually do so it takes a loooong time haha.
love the outfit though super cute!
    xo

    • Agreed about not enjoying talking about my feelings. I usually get so messed up conveying what’s actually on my end, things end up getting worse not better. It’s probably the main thing I wish that I could change about myself.

Thanks about my new sweater :)

I think the ability to discuss feelings in a collected manner comes a lot from the way one was brought up. Some families talk a lot, others don’t. So man or woman, it doesn’t matter. It’s really a crap shoot, if you ask me…

    • Thanks Sasha, I am actually coming to learn exactly what you are saying. My BF is far more open and collected than I am when we discuss feelings and argue. It’s definitely one of the areas where I want to develop most in the next few years.

  5. How lovely ! The picture is really nice and the outfit really pretty !!
    Nice one !
