Hello Darlings, In my past life, art was a prominent part of it. While it may feel as if ages have gone by, it was only in 2011 that I stepped my foot into a dream opportunity — Sotheby’s. As I walked into their Toronto office, the five years that I spent at University of Toronto specializing in Art History and Architecture seemed worth it. For a while it was. In fact so much that before ever getting there I was planning on going to Sotheby’s Institute of Art to complete a Masters Degree in Art Business. Little did I…

Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

Hello Darlings, It was one of those shaky landings but the unfolding view never ceases to amaze. That’s the thing about New York it always has a way of surprising you regardless of how familiar it may be. Just two weeks prior,  I was on the same tarmac of Newark. This time I was back to attend the iconic Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, for the first time. To say that I was excited would be an understatement. Well, excited and with a touch of nerves. ALT Court, Montreal

Hello Darlings, Nothing gets our pulse racing and heart beating like cheering on our favourite team. Now an entire country coming together to support our athletes at the Olympics, that’s national pride. With Rio 2016 taking place it left me reminiscing of my trip to Montreal back in July. Over the weekend of July 8th, I was invited to celebrate one of my favourite sports — tennis. With Rogers Cup set to take place the following week, National Bank was celebrating 10 years of supporting  tennis in Canada. A worthy occasion for an epic celebration! That is not to say that I do not love other…

Winter Sunglasses & Why Wear Them

Hello Darlings, The other day as my mom and I were both in a car and spotted an individual with a questionable outfit, or as my mom would say too fashionable. We went into a discussion of fashion over function. Which got me thinking how far out of our comfort do we go for fashion? In essence every part of our outfit carries a function but in today’s world how much emphasis do we give aesthetic over function. In particular one story came into mind as I started to ponder this idea. On one autumn afternoon I was browsing the sunglasses…

Cold vs Warm Weather Skin Care Routine

Hello Darlings, As it appears that the spring may have lost her path this year, I am sure that we can all agree it’s been too cold for too long.  Aside from the  complete lack of creativity on a million and one ways to rock a parka, it is not only our wardrobe that is hitting a major rut but also our skin. With the weather as unforgiving as this year, my skin has definitely seen the better days. As we’re anticipating the arrival of spring, I thought it would be a good idea to talk to a specialist about the…
