She Had a Bad Day

Hello Darlings, Do you know those days when you just can't wait for the clock to hit midnight so the day is finally officially over? Yesterday was that day for me! It sucked in a major way. It started with mixing up the time for a lunch date (stupid! and I feel horrible), then sending a wrong e-mail, then getting into a disagreement with someone near and dear, and last but not least I even found a  tiny hole in my favorite silk blouse! One word: Disaster! I had a bad day that now needs a day of damage control, and a trip to Club Monaco.

That's the thing about life, sometimes there are days when you just want to hide under a big comfy blanket and not face the light of day.  As a returned home last night to end the work part of my day, I felt like all the weight of the world was on my shoulders. Yes, everyone makes mistakes but that does not prevent one from feeling lousy.

The thing that I did realize is that feeling bad will not change anything but owning up to your actions and dealing with the consequences is the only responsible and positive thing to do. In business and in life you're not given many second chances, so the best you can do is to offer a sincere apology and promise to do better in the future.

At the end of the day,  every girl at some point will need to fix her lipstick, take a deep breath and move on with a smile. Life will never be perfect no matter who you are. So even on your worst days keep your chin up, be honest with yourself, and chances are your tomorrow will be a better day :)

With Love...
