Prepping For a Girls Night Out

Hello Darlings, It’s Saturday night, the music is blasting, the hot curlers are setting  and you’re putting on your favorite red lipstick. It’s a girls night out! Unlike any other night, this one is incomparable. It’s one of those nights where you don’t have a single care in this world!

Until the plan of action comes together, there’s a chain of negotiations and exchanges that take place a few hours leading up to the big night. The venue was a breeze to decide on and now is the time for the outfit-talk! It’s the talk that sets the tone for the rest of the night. It’s the moment when texts start flying… “what area you wearing tonight?” …

I AM WEARING: Vince Silk Blouse // Club Monaco Shorts // Rosegold Zack Sandals // Ray Ban Wayfarers //Marc by Marc Jacobs Big Idea Watch // Olive & Piper Bullets Necklace

From that one questions begins a dialogue that leads to a well coordinated outing. Unlike any other time, you all look in-sync and ready to face the night one fabulous stiletto at a time. That’s the thing about a GNO, it starts before the actual night! It takes good planning and number of wardrobe changes before you even step a foot outside your room.

With an outfit on a stand-by, now is the time to pack your party bag. When out for a night on the town, don’t forget to bring the following:

  • Always bring emergency cash.
  • Always bring ID.
  • Always bring a well charged phone.
  • Always have band-aids.
  • Have pressed powder and lipstick on standby.
  • Be kind and have emergency feminine products.
  • Mints are a must!

Now that your clutch is packed and your outfit is fabulous, remember to have an amazing night out!

With Love…

Usually I don’t plan what to wear. I grab whatever I see first. Ha! And oh I often forget to bring band-aids.
