Paris vs New York: Vahram Muratyan

Hello Darlings, Often when I feel like spending time alone, I visit an art gallery or a book store. After finishing the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy – loved it – I was on a mission to find my next read. My first attempt to find a book was a failure – any suggestions? – but a selection of adorable postcards did catch my eye.

I’ve always been fond of sending postcards for different occasions and this box was so unique and adorable that I couldn’t resist it.  The illustrations were simple, yet so genius! They are pop art!

The collection of Paris vs New York postcards are illustrated by Parisian artist, Vahram Muratyan. Muratyan is best known for his book  Paris vs New York, which explores the graphic signs of both cities. His bold and playful work caught the eye of Prada, and the two went on to collaborate on creating a virtual lookbook named Prada Parallel Universes! This July a one-off Prada x Vahram Murayan T-shirt collection for men and women will hit stores!

I look forward to buying a few of his prints to adorn the walls of my place and of course the book for the coffee table! It is rare to find such brilliant works for everyday, but when you do they really do make your day. Discovering the graphic art of Vahram Muratyan made my day 🙂

With Love…

Marta

    Hi,

I’m trying to finish Online Marketing 36 Hour Course Book and The Huffington Post Complete Guide to Blogging. LOL!

But an easy fashion book read would be The Sartorialist and just browse through the photos, it’s entertaining.

I’ve definitely read a few like that and they are very interesting. What do you think of Huffington Post’s guide?
