Hello Darlings,

So excited to share this opportunity for a reader to win tickets to one of the hottest shows at World MasterCard Fashion Week. Last fall, talented Montreal designer DUY won the top prize at Toronto’s fashion week in the Mercedes-Benz Start Up program, and our winner will receive 2 tickets to sit in the front row for his FW/13 collection runway show on Tuesday, March 19th

I first saw DUY show at Montreal Fashion Week last fall, and immediately fell in love! He has a wonderful style, and his show was one of, if not the best of fashion week. Here is a link to my review of his SS/13 collection and runway show with of course lots of photos!

Light denim is definetely the new alternate to a bold statement colour such as black! The LBD or even the LWD (little white dress) from last summer is being replaced by the new DENIM DRESS OR TUNIC. A faded blue will be the perfect colour to be worn during the summer days and the deep blues are saying hello to Indigo denim !
The denim trend goes along with a polished pony and a bright lipstick and VOILA! Shall we welcome denim as we say good bye to black and white?

  50. Shiori says:
