Blue skies, sunny days and warm waters for my Florida beach vacation! I am staying at a resort near Tallahassee Florida at a place called Alligator Point.

The thing about vacations is that it is never as effortless to be chic on the beach as it looks. A girl might be wearing just a bikini and a cover-up but a lot of thought went into that ensemble. That’s the thing about effortless, it always takes effort.

For this mini-vacation, I packed a small suitcase with a few well choreographed outfits that were not only functional but also cute. It is always best to ensure that you are well packed to make sure that the vacation is hassle free. Every suitcase should contain plenty of SPF, a few head covers, number of bikinies, a few sun-dresses, and a few sandals and a pair of espadrilles.

Among all the goodies that I packed this Luv Designs by Chrystal Michelle jumpsuit and Eugenia Kim turban headband are my favorites. Both pieces are very unique and practical. The jumpsuit is soft and comfortable, and is ideal for the tropical setting. It can also be dressed up with a blazer. As for the turban, which not only keeps my hair colour shielded from the sun, it also ensures that my hair is neat and sand-free.

Of all my vacation looks, this one is my favorites and wearing this simple silhouette is a refreshing look that made me feel beautiful.

The fashion and beauty principles that she instilled in me from a young age are the ones that stuck with me the most. She constantly reminds me to take care of myself, to be happy and grateful for what I already have, and to work hard for what I do want. Lat night and just in time for Mother’s Day, we arrived at a charming ocean-front beach house in Florida for our family vacation. Nothing says spending quality family time like some fun in the sun!

Retro + tropic = dress

Prints in the spirit of Versace mixed with strict retro silhouettes are the main tendency of a hot summer. High heels combined with tropical colors – a simple genius, just as is youthful Bianca Jagger.

Sack bag

Sack bag is an embodiment of a contemporary sporty trend. Spacious and easy-to-use, of different shape and form, they simultaneously combine natural chic and light carefreeness. With this trendy accessory shorts with high waist and a shirt would go best.

Peplum

A favorite adornment of a Dior collection can be found in various summer lookbooks. Lush waves around the waist, strict geometrical lines, volume loops – a peplum can be of any shape or form, and still give your image a feel of airy elegance.

 Neon

Fluorescent lights don’t leave a chance for you to go unnoticed. This summer one can combine them in any way a heart desires: with dark or light fabrics or even with other neon’s! Bravely forget about balance and mix a fuchsia colored t-shirt with a fiery-orange colored skirt.

Men’s shirt

Strictly men’s simple shirt made out of cotton or monochrome silk is not only a perfect excuse to explore your boyfriend’s wardrobe, but also an extra chance to save up money on clothing and finally buy the long-desired pair of shoes.

For a minimal girly look, clean and feminine what’s better than pairing a white bikini with flashy neon accessories? White is always my number one color for summer and neon attracts me like a moth to a flame. This duo should keep me in high voltage this Summer! (P.S. it’ll look so hot once we’re tanned!)

Flower-prints have already found their way in my wardrobe  and I intend to wear them a lot through Summer. I’m going to mix flower prints with pastel tones for pin-up inspired beach looks. This is an unmissable trend for me!

Tribal-inspired, vibrant colors and ethnic and handcrafted pieces are really catching my eye! Besides, looks that remind us of holidays are always a must have for summer, don’t you agree?

I also let myself surrender to tropical prints. I plan to combine these trend with a bag and accessories of natural materials! I swear I can almost feel the heat of the southern hemisphere just by starring at this trend!

With vacation packing, I am always worried about running out of sun dresses. The easiest way to stay comfortable and cute is with an adorable dress thrown over a bikini. I always bring two pairs of leather flat sandals, two pairs of ballerinas as well as three pairs of platforms/heels. Also, for those messy hair days I love a fedora or turban headband. Always in my suitcase when going for a vacation is:
