Hello Darlings, 2012 was a year filled with lots of memorable experiences. This week was one of the highlights, spending a few days with Dallas Cowboys football player DeMarco Murray – catching a glimpse into what his life is like as an NFL superstar – and better yet what this charming guy is really like!
Among the many fun things we did together, one of the most interesting was DeMarco taking me on a tour of Cowboys Stadium where his Dallas Cowboys team play. It’s enormous! And below is a photo of DeMarco in action running with the football.
DeMarco is 24 years old, and grew up in Las Vegas Nevada. He’s now in his 2nd season as a pro football player, but he was in the spotlight long before becoming an NFL player. While studying communications and business, DeMarco was also a star player on the famous Oklahoma Sooners football team.
Although DeMarco is on almost every TV channel each week for his football – funny enough his biggest moment from last weekend was a “wardrobe malfunction” which he joked about with me – I was more interested to learn more about him as a person! So what better way than treating him to a spa date at the Four Seasons Dallas, for a bit of gossip and a chance to ask him about his life, his personal style, and his views on women and relationships!
Much to my surprise, our Four Seasons spa date for his and hers manicures wasn’t completely unfamiliar territory for DeMarco! He told me that in the off-season he actually does occasionally treat himself to manicures! What girl doesn’t love a well polished guy
How cute is this!!! After our stadium tour, I went with DeMarco to a special appearance for Cowboys sponsor Pepsi. While he seems shy and reserved in his personal life – what really impressed me is how genuine and friendly DeMarco was with everyone who wanted to meet him – and especially the kids!
Love this photo, which is at DeMarco’s locker inside the Dallas Cowboys change room. We shot about 10 fun short videos together all about girly topics. I am furiously editing them, and hope to share them tonight and tomorrow – so check back
