Once in a while a girl comes across certain things that make her everyday life more fun. My two most recent discoveries are florals and Pinterest, which may seem as completely different things, but one did influence the other. And with how fast people seem to be adopting Pinterest, I thought to add my 2 cents about why it's making my everyday life more interesting.

New social media options are introduced seemingly every week. Let's recap: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Tumblr are the main ones that I am using (and already struggling to keep up with regular updates). Still, the latest addition to the mix is worth checking out, which is Pinterest.
It’s been a wonderful first experience covering Montreal Fashion Week.

My top three favourite Montreal designers so far are Melissa Nepton, Tavan & Mitto, and Eve Gravel. Melissa Nepton was featured in my Tuesday post, so here are my impressions and photos from the Tavan & Mitto and Eve Gravel shows.
What an exciting start to my first fashion week in Montreal. As I arrived in Montreal yesterday and checked into my beautiful suite at W Montreal, I was greeted with an Aldo bag of goodies for both me and our contest winner Jessica for our Fabulous Meets Fashion experience!

Shoe joy aside, our evening was all about Quebecois talent and in particular that of Melissa Nepton, followed by a memorable girl’s night out at Le Plateau in W Montreal. I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Jessica Plusquelle, winner of Fabulous Meets Fashion, and Brigette Dumas, W Montreal Insider.

Often at random times is when you most appreciate how lucky and happy is your life. So much so, I am concerned to jinx what is happening with my own life!

As I was buying travel essentials, I thought how this week will be rich with travel, experiences, and meeting interesting people. Monday, I will travel to Montreal for their Fashion Week, and to host my own WithLoveGabrielle event. This time last year, I was finishing University and interning at Sotheby’s, so it is surreal how different is my life just one year later. There is a HUGE world outside of school, which is not as scary as it seemed :P With creativity and a bit of hard work, making one’s own path can be exhilarating!
