Sleeping With The Enemy

Hello Darlings, One of the greatest parts of any vacation is the extra time you have to yourself. For some it might be a beach-front massage, perhaps a shopping spree but for me it’s all about catching up on reading. Although I read a lot, mostly it is SEO and coding related books for the website. This week I finally had the time to finish Hal Vaughan’s Sleeping With The Enemy: Coco Chanel’s Secret War.

Parisian Chic: A Style Guide by Ines de la Fressange

Hello Darlings, A week ago, I bought the much hyped Parisian Chic: A Style Guide by Ines de la Fressange with Sophie Gachet. The book was released in April 2011, and has generated much buzz in the fashion community. Unlike Nina Garcia’s books, which are useful and heavily fashion oriented, this book lacked substance. Claiming to reveal the secrets of Parisian chic, this book by author Ines de la Fressange belongs more in France travel section than it does the fashion section.

Parisian Chic

Hello Darlings, I would like to thank everyone for taking part in the giveaway! I am happy to announce the winner of Bottega Veneta Eau De Parfum, 50 ml. Congratulations to Lenore (check your facebook)! I am even happier to announce that WithLoveGabrielle.com is doing a special giveaway with DAVIDsTEA starting this Wednesday. In the meantime, please enjoy these inspiring images of the mother-daughter duo — Nine D’Urso and Ines de la Fressange — and a little insight into Parisian chic. Has anyone read their Parisian Chic: Style Guide ? If so, what are your thoughts?
