Hello Darlings,
There are some soirees where a trusty little black dress simply won’t do. You know, one of those evenings where you want to make an impression. A few days ago there was one of those evenings in my life, attending a private party hosted by Elizabeth Arden to preview their Spring collection.

Aside from being a work related event, it was also a date night and what girl doesn’t want to dress to impress both her colleagues and her beau. Any woman can walk into a luxe designer boutique and walk out in a look from the latest collection. But when buying a new designer piece is not a realistic option, not to mention responsible...
Hello Darlings,
After a long day of filming on new docu-series called Style Bio for E! and Fashion Television channels, I rushed to the much anticipated Tory Burch opening of their first boutique in Canada. As a long time Tory Burch fan of her East coast meets West coast style of preppy yet relaxed looks, it is exciting to welcome yet another wonderful designer to Canada.

On May 4th, Tory Burch opened its iconic lacquered orange doors at Toronto's Yorkdale Shopping Centre. According to Tory Burch herself, "Our Yorkdale boutique has been in the works for a while, but we took our time finding the right space and were patient until it became available. We have always been drawn to Canada because of its incredible culture and people — the customer is savvy, stylish and loves fashion."
Rachel Sin presents at FAT 2012
Hello Darlings,
Last night I had a chance to check out |FAT| Arts & Fashion Week for the first time. FAT is an annual multi-arts event in Toronto featuring 200 national and international fashion designers, visual artists, bands and performers. It is unlike any fashion event, done in the spirit of gallery or exhibit opening, this avant-garde spectacle is a week long celebration of creativity!

I was there to support Toronto's up-and-coming fashion darling, Rachel Sin and her Fall/Winter 2012 fashion line. As a trained architect, Sin's designs are strong yet feminine. Her work celebrates an independent, want-to-do-it-all woman whose wardrobe is an extension of her confidence, originality and personal style. From tailored office attire to charming dresses, Rachel Sin is a go-to label for a modern, working girl.
Hello Darlings,
What girl wouldn't want to re-live her prom, now that she is older and wiser!

My prom in the summer of 2006 was a dream come true but given the chance to do it again, I avoided the drama and a hefty price tag. Whether you're in high-school and getting ready for prom, in university and going to semi-formal, or you're all grown up and attending a gala. Despite the different walks in life, every girl shares the same desire to feel beautiful for that special occasion.
