TIFF 2013

Hello Darlings, Since 1976, Toronto has played a host to an annual Toronto International Film Festival. Over the years TIFF has become the city’s most anticipated event. Every year, the festival shows 370 films from 72 countries and welcomes over 400,000 movie enthusiasts. Traditionally TIFF begins on the Thursday evening following Labour Day and goes on for 11 days.

Hello Darlings, every so often a girl needs a “Cinderella night” — an evening where she gets dolled up for a fabulous night out with her prince charming. The event doesn’t so much matter as does the ritual of getting herself ready, since the effort and attention to detail that goes into planning that perfect night is often what creates the most lasting memories!

Visiting Black Halo

Hello Darlings, While in Los Angeles, I was fortunate to visit the design studio of one of my favorite labels — Black Halo. I am a big fan of designer Laurel Berman, so seeing where her creative ideas are born was a special treat. Unlike any other dresses, my three Black Halo signature Jackie O dresses hold a special place in my closet. The way I feel when wearing them is incomparable.

Sweet Talk Toronto

Hello Darlings, Sweet Talk Making Bold Moves in Heels event is Wednesday, March 27th in Toronto. The cocktail soiree is hosted by the Women in Leadership Foundation who provide opportunities for women to develop their leadership skills and successfully advance in their careers by collaborating with authentic and relatable  female role models. Some of the treats planned for the evening include having your hair and make-up styled by Toronto’s finest, followed by a professional headshot – all while networking with like-minded fabulous women.
