Hello Darlings, Love love this interview that Robert Pattinson did last night on The Daily Show (watch here!) with Jon Stewart. Obviously embarrassed by his messy break-up with Kristen Stewart, not only did he suck it up and get back to work facing the media to promote the opening of his new movie Cosmopolis in New York, he did so with a positive and charming attitude.

As the saying goes “don’t cry over spilt milk”, but if ever there was a good case for a little self pity Robert Pattinson was deserving. He literally had a cow tipped over on him considering he’s one of the world’s top A-list celebrities, and almost every magazine, newspaper, and entertainment tv show reports daily on how he was cheated on.

In particular, I love his self deprecating humor calling himself “cheap for not hiring a publicist”, and that maybe now is a good time to hire one! Congratulations Robert on being a model citizen, and an inspiration to anyone who’s been duped in love to just GET ON WITH IT — AND FIND SOMEONE WAY BETTER

In the spirit of Rob’s fun interview, What do you think is the best way to handle any break-up?
With Love…
Marta

SO relevant to my life right now! While I’ve been completely single for almost a full year now, all my friends are dealing with break ups, both guys and gals, and are coming to me for advice! I think the best way to handle break ups is to cry, for a few days. be upset, be angry. Then do something fun. Cut them out of your lives, cold turkey, if you can, so the healing process can begin, and conclude, quicker. Do things for yourself, and with your friends. and surround yourself with positive, happy people!
